After I get some clothes on I go out and explore the camp. After finding nothing that pleases me I walk up the mountain top. The Sun was getting ready to set. We were in the middle nowhere it looks like.

"That was stupid. What you did back there for Brenda." Newt mutters.

"Someone has to be strong for this group." I repeated his words from earlier.

"Ember. Love, I'm sorry. I just want to be there for you and Luna. In order to be there for you both I need to be strong for our group. Show no weakness. To protect our family no matter what. Because I love you so much that if I lost you it would break me. I don't think I would move on if I lost you. And I won't ever let that happen again. I've lost too many people in my life, I won't lose you." Newt stood behind me.

"I know. I want what's best for this family too. It's just I want you to communicate with me and show your feelings towards me. Seems like our love is not there anymore and Luna? It seems like you want nothing to do with her. You don't want her like I do."

"That's not true at all. I want Luna to be my daughter. I want to teach her everything. Tell her what we've been through. How we first met. I love her like she is my own. I want to protect you both. But don't worry. I'm going to change. I can be the man that you fell in love with back in the glade. I can be him again. This rock hard person is not working out for me anyway." He leans down and kissed me.

"That's the Newt I feel in love with." I smiled into the kiss.

"I love you so much Em. With all of my heart. You're the one I want to spend my entire life with." He hugs me.

"I love you more Newt." We walked down the mountain to join Minho and Fry.

"So you guys ok?" Minho asked.

"We worked it out. Just emotions running through us." Newt waved it off. Just then Thomas was walking up the mountain to join us. He sat down next to Newt.

"So am I a uncle?" Minho smiled widely.

"To Luna yes. I'm not having kids anytime soon. Maybe when Luna hits the teens well think about it." I wink at Newt.

"I wish Alby could've seen all this." He sighed. I rest my head on his chest.

"And Winston." Fry said.

"And Chuck." Thomas mumbled. My heart ached when we mention his name. He was my first baby. Even though he really wasn't mine.

"Zart, Jeff and Clint." I named.

"They would be proud of you, you know, Tommy." Newt tried to cheer Thomas up.

"They all would be like: that's the greenie we trained. That's the greenie we raised." I giggled.

"Yeah." Thomas smiled. We look down and watch Aris talking to the girls.

"Hey, Aris!" Fry shouted.

"Hey, guys!" He waved at us.

"I kinda like that kid." Fry smiled.

"Yeah. I still don't trust him though." Minho grinned.

"Hey, where's Teresa?" Thomas asked.

"She went up there." Newt leaned back pointing at the figure on the cliff. I didn't realize she was with us still. That's horrible of me.

"Go get her Tommy. She needs to talk to someone." I nodded my head towards her.

"I think she is mad at me." He mutter.

"For what? For getting us to safety. For not leaving us behind. For helping us get to safe haven. We found the right arm. We are safe from WCKD. What more could we ask for?" I let out.

"I just don't know whats going through her head."

"Then ask her. Go and talk to her. Now, before I get up and beat you." Everyone laughed.

"You're right. Thanks em. You are going to make a great mom." He gets up walking over to Teresa.

"I try." I shrug my shoulders.

"Hey lets go check on the princess." Newt gets up grabbing my hand pulling me up.

"We are coming too." Fry and Minho both get up following us down the hill. Newt holds my hand as we walk down to camp. Then we heard helicopter buzzing. WCKD was here.

"Luna." I took off running to the camp. She was down there. No. No. No.

"Ember!" Newt yelled for me but I ignored it. I had to get down to the camp. Then there was the explosion.
