Valerie: It is October 18th and today is the day at which I get to be at an award show where I am a nominee. I'm so excited that I'm getting goosebumps and even butterflies in my stomach. I swear my heart is pumping so loud that everyone could hear it but that's not the case. My friend Monica and I got ready because we thought that we were running late but the time on my clock was messed up and when I looked at my phone we had 3 hours left until we had to be at the red carpet. Valerie: Hey, Monica do you want to get a quick bite before we head out? Apparently we have 3 hours left. Monica: Yeah, actually that sounds like a great idea, let's just head down stairs to Casa Tua, I've heard that the food is amazing there. Valerie: Okay, isn't it weird that we've been staying in this hotel (Casa Tua), but haven't tried the food? Monica: Umm... I don't think so, I mean after all you've been really busy and haven't had much time. We head down to the restaurant that the hotel had. Everyone has given us compliments and I remembered that we were dressed down with our hair done. Monica and I walked out the the back side that they had outside. Goodness gracious it was beautiful outside. With the trees, lights hanging and the candles it was just gorgeous. Monica and I ended up sitting by a tree, which seemed just perfect because I was still amazed with everything. I didn't even realize the couple that was sitting two tables in front of us and the two friends that were on the left, three tables away from us. The waiter came and took our order. Monica and I were just talking and talking for a while and out of nowhere I feel weird. I feel like if someone was staring at me. As I look around the room I make eye contact with one of the boys that was on the left, he was also in front of us but he was on the left side. I won't lie but the boy was cute and he seemed familiar. I smiled at him which caused him to smile from ear to ear. He just has the most amazing smile which made me feel a weird thing in my stomach. He has dark brown hair, dark brown eyes and an amazing smile. Monica and I finished our food and just in time paparazzi showed up so we decided that it was time for us to leave. As I was getting up I left some tip on the table then I started heading my way to the door. I was getting out my Babylips out of my purse and then it fell out of my hand. Just what I needed. As I reach down to get it I bump heads with the guy from earlier that was staring at me. It looked like he was also going to get my Babylips. That head bump was painful. Joel: Sorry, are you okay? I was just trying to get you your umm...(he reads the label) Babylips. He has a smirk on his face and turns out that his friend and him were also heading out. Valerie: It's okay, it didn't hurt that much and thanks but I was actually going to get it. Joel: Are you sure that you're okay? Valerie: Yes, I'm sure. Joel: Okay, well I'm Joel and this is my friend Yoandri. Yoandri: Hey, you ladies look gorgeous tonight. Is there something special going on? Valerie: Nice to meet you Joel and Yoandri, I'm Valerie and this is my friend Monica and thank you. Yes, we are actually heading to an award show. Yoandri: Omg! Are you Valerie as in Valerie Deleon?! Valerie: (Laughs) Yes, that's me. Joel: (Whispers) That's her, the one I fell in love with. Yoandri: Dude I know, do you think she heard you? Joel: I don't know. Valerie: You guys seem familiar. Joel: Oh sorry that's my bad, we are both contestants in La Banda. Valerie: For real? I love that show! Wait aren't you Joel Pimentel? And you must be Yoandri Cabrera. Joel: Yup, that's us. Monica: Are you guys staying in the hotel? Joel: Yes, we are why? Monica: Just asking, because Valerie now we may be running a bit late. Valerie: Oh okay well it was nice meeting both of you, I'll see you guys later. Joel: Yeah, of course it was nice meeting you too, hopefully we get to see each other again. Valerie: Yes, we'll definitely see each other again. Monica and I walk out and I heard Yoandri yell out JOEL LO....... I could get to hear the rest because the door closed and it was noisy inside.
