Goodness gracious the award show went by fast and so did the after party. I never really thought about winning an award because just being nominated was an honor. Monica and I were arriving at the hotel around midnight. We were loud and hyper that I didn't know what was going on. We passed by a few doors to get to our room. Someone was opening their door. Oh no, Monica and I froze. We're busted. The person who opened the door was Joel. Yoandri came and saw us and just by looking at them Monica and I bursted out laughing. I felt dizzy and Joel noticed. Joel: Yoandri you take Monica inside I'll take Valerie. As I see Yoandri take Monica I'm starting to black out. I hold onto the wall to sustain myself. Joel noticed and he quickly grabs me. He held me by the waist. As I look into his eyes I see a different side of him that I've never seen before, not even in a guy. His eyes were sparkling in the light. He seemed genuinely in love. For some reason I felt the urge to kiss him. I get closer to him, his lips look so soft I just can't help myself anymore. As I'm getting closer to his lips he carries me inside. He picked me up like no problem. He broke off the kiss that I was going to give him. Maybe he didn't feel the same way as I did. By now we are in his bedroom and he lays me down on his bed. God his bed smelled so good, it smelled like him. Yoandri came in. Yoandri: Monica fell asleep on the couch, I was going to take her to my bedroom but I didn't want to disturb her. Joel: Okay, I'll get Valeria situated. Yoandri: Okay, I'll just head to bed. Good night Valerie, good night Joel. Oh and Joel hopefully you'll get your dreams to come to life (Yoandri winked at Joel). Joel: (Laughs) Not funny bro and good night. Valerie: Good night Yoandri. I gave him a small smile. Yoandri leaves and closes the door. I wonder what he meant about Joel's dreams coming to life. Joel: How are you feeling? Valerie: Umm... honestly tired and lightheaded. Joel: You should get some rest. You could sleep on my bed and I'll stay here with you if you need anything. Valerie: Where would you sleep? Joel: On that couch. He headed towards the couch next to the bed and sat down. Valerie: No, I'll just head to my room and you'll sleep on your bed. I'll just wake up Monica and we'll leave. Joel: No, Valerie you're not feeling well. It's best if you stay here and get some rest. Valerie: (Slightly laughs) I'm okay, really. I start making my way out of bed and Joel gets on the bed and reaches over for me. The bed bounces causing me to loose my balance. I fall on the bed and Joel also loses his balance. Now he's on top of me, looking me straight in the eyes and I do the same. There's that same sparkle in his eyes except that the light wasn't even on his face. Once again I feel the same urge to kiss him. Joel: Sorry. Valerie: It's okay and I should go. Joel: No, please stay, you're not in good conditions of walking to your room. Valerie: I'm only causing problems. Joel: No you're not. Valerie: Joel please, I won't be able to sleep if I know that I'm in your bed and you're on a couch sleeping. I'll only stay if you agree to sleep on your bed and I'll sleep on the couch. Joel: No, I won't let that happen. Look you'll take my bed and I'll sleep on the couch. Valerie: No, how about both of us sleep on the bed I mean after all the bed is big. Wait what did I just say, did I just basically tell him to sleep with me in his bed? Yes, yes I did. Joel: Yeah, okay that seems fair. Joel smiled and blushed a bit. He takes off his shirt and jeans. He puts on some sweatpants and gets ready for bed. Omg he's just perfect. For a 16 year old he definitely has some abs. There not as big or small, they are just right. I caught myself staring at him so I look away so he won't notice. Joel: Sorry, hopefully you don't mind I umm.. Sleep shirtless and umm...do you want some clothes to change into? Valerie: It's okay and yeah sure. He hands me a white t-shirt and some sweatpants. He went into the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth. Meanwhile I start to undress myself. I put on the t-shirt and start to smile. The shirt is pretty big on me. It fits me like a short dress. The shirt has his scent which drives me crazy. He comes out and I'm only in the shirt he gave me, luckily the shirt goes below my butt or else I'd be so embarrassed. Joel: Sorry, umm... I didn't mean to uh... you look adorable ... I umm... I'm sorry. I couldn't help but smile. Omg he was blushing, he looked so cute. Valerie: Thank you. I smile at him which causes him to smile. I grab the sweatpants and put them on. I realized that he was still in the room. Joel: I set a toothbrush on the bathroom counter for you and if you would like you could also use my face wash. Valerie: Okay thank you. Once I was done washing my face and brushing my teeth I walk out of the bathroom and Joel is laying in bed looking at me. I walk over and get in bed. I was in pain. I had this huge head ache. Valerie: Thank you for everything. I reach in and give him a kiss on the check. He kisses me back. Joel: I'll be here for you. Valerie: I'll be here for you too. I feel so emotional and a tear slides down my check. I quickly remove it so he wouldn't see but he saw me anyways. Joel: Am I hurting you? Valerie: No, no you're not hurting me it's just that you're so sweet and nice to me and I can see in your eyes that you care about me. Sorry I'm just an emotional wreck right now. Joel: Come here. He has his arms open and I go to him. He wraps his arms around me and holds me tight. Joel: And you are not an emotional wreck. It's just all the excitement from tonight. Valerie: I love you Joel. I didn't realize that those words came out of my mouth. Joel: I love you too. I fall asleep in his arms and he also falls asleep. I really wish I have more moments like this with him.
