It had been 5 months since I moved back in with Ricky and we had no more problems or arguments. Also, that meant I was 9 months into my pregnancy! I was prepared for the baby to come any moment then, but I think Ricky thought it was going to come on the exact due date. Ricky and I decided we weren't going to keep the gender of the baby a surprise so we found out it was a little girl! We had painted the spare room for the baby a very light shade of lavender with a cot already built. Obviously we had a little crib next to our bed for the baby to come to because she would be too young to go straight to her own room. We also decided we weren't going to name our baby until she was born so we could see what name was right for her. I had gone shopping for cute little clothes for her in the newborn section so I knew they would fit. Tomorrow is the due date for our baby and Ricky was certain I would give birth to her tomorrow, but it's quite unlikely that I will. It was now coming to 7pm and I was already exhausted so after I visited the checkout I drove home and dropped myself onto the sofa. "Moonlighttt! Where have you been?" Ricky laughed while running to me from the kitchen. I stood up and gave him a hug as he squeezed me closer. I rested my head on his shoulder.
"I was just shopping for some clothes for our baby - sit down and have a look!" I said excitedly. I pulled the baby pink dresses out of the bags as I picked them up. I dragged the coffee table closer to the sofa so I could lay the outfits out across it.
"Awh, they're really cute!" Ricky put his arm around my shoulder. "Are you ready to give birth tomorrow?" he smiled. He looked into my eyes deeply and I stared back as I thought I'd go along with his humourless joke.
"Yep, so ready I gave even got to practising my yelps of pain! " I joked around. He started laughing as I stood up. "Do you mind packing away these clothes, please? I'm super tired so I'm going to have an early night!" I asked Ricky.
"Of course." he smiled as he shooed me away. "I'll be up as soon as I've packed it all away." He said with a smirk. I was so glad I had a partner that helped me with everything. As I slowly walked up the stairs, I stroked my stomach and started to think about the baby. I was so excited but so nervous. I knew I would have support from my family and Ricky and that was what kept me going. And of course my fans. Actually, that reminded me that I needed to tell my fans about the baby! After sitting down on my bed I grabbed my phone and went on Twitter.
Loves I need to tell y'all something... New baby on the way w Ricky and no jk! It's a gurllll #babycomethru #babies #loveyouall #duetomorrow #probswontcometomorr.#merrychristmas #christmassurprise!
I knew the majority of my loves wouldn't believe me because it was just such a sudden thing to just announce over Twitter so I needed to make it more official. Luckily I had an interview the next day with the gorgeous ladies from Loose Women. I put down my phone and instantly fell asleep. I woke up with an enormous yawn and the unusual but beautiful sent of a fresh, green smoothie which stood before me on my bedside table. "Good morning cutie!" a familiar and refreshing voice whispered in my ear. I turned around and saw Ricky staring at me excitedly.
"What are you so excited about?" I giggled as I snuggled into the duvet.
"Well... Today's the due date babe! Are you ready to give birth to the most gorgeous thing on earth? Well that is except yourself!" Ricky exclaimed.
"Yep I'll be ready.. Just right after my interview with the ladies from Loose Women! Awaiting,awaitings..." I sighed playfully.
"Well I'll be at home watching you on TV but don't forget your interview starts at 2:00 so you better get cracking on getting ready!" he giggled.
"Oh right, yeah!" I said as I looked at my phone. "Oh gosh! It's 12:00 and it takes an hour to get there! I need to start getting dressed!" I yelled as I hopped out of bed and went to jump to my closet before a gentle but firm grip grasped onto my wrist.
"Uh-hum! " Ricky cleared his throat. "It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to make that special edition smoothie for Her Majesty!" I giggled but sighed. "It's alright, I know you're in a rush. I'll pour the smoothie into a travel mug quickly and ring Dalina and Daniel for your hair and makeup." Ricky smiled.
"Wow, I really do have the best boyfriend ever. Thankyou so much, we'll spend some more time together tonight."
