"So beautiful, I hope you love Italian."

"Haha, we did met in a pizza restaurant, Charming..."

Charles goes on and tells me about his day the office and the different clients that came to him and seek for his advice for their problems. He even told me that he is one of the few lawyers that doesn't asks for payment till they win the case. I guess he's rich enough and have a heart of gold. A guilty feeling starts to built up inside my stomach. Charles is such a nice guy but then I can't seem to take Michel off my mind. His expression when I walked towards Charles car. He looked so distraught even though it wasn't my fault that he lost my number.

"Charles, excuse me as I go to the ladies..."

"Of course sure. Take your time milady." he stood up as I take my stand.

Such a gentleman.

I look myself in the mirror and decided to give my face a little tap of cold water.

"Wake up, Elle! Charles is a great guy and he deserves a chance to win your heart. To let him have a chance doesn't mean that you're cheating... You're not even dating Michel, even though you planned together to help each other to find a partner.. So what if you find yourself a catch before he does? Huh! You are not guilty, you are a free women, you are allowed to choose whoever! You go girl!"

After gathering myself in the ladies, I head back out to join Charles at the table.

"The waiter came when you were gone. I ordered for us first, I hope you don't mind..." Charles notifies me as I took my seat.

"No no of course not."

The date went on as lovely as it started. The conversations that we have aren't as playful and fun like the conversations with Michel. However, it was pleasant. I felt that I could be myself in front of Charles and he won't judge me. The feeling that I thought that would be hard to have between me and attractive guys.

"So Charles, why is a good looking bachelor with a great career still single?

 "Haha! Well, I just turned 25 last month... All this time I had been busy with law school; the thought of a relationship didn't attract me at all. Of course, I have mates that will always try to set me up with their partner's friends. And with me being a nice person and all, I never reject a request to go on a blind date. But none of them actually attracted me to go more than just that dinner date."

"Really? Wow than I can only assume that you have a high standard for someone who never had a girlfriend before... Suddenly, I feel honored and pretty good about myself that you approached me and asked me out on a date."

"Well, you definitely should... You're gorgeous. Although, it's not because I have a high standard. The ladies were beautiful, they just lost me during the date... We had good conversations yet it wasn't exciting and I felt like they were putting a face up. Like they are not being themselves you get what I mean...?"

"Yeah, I get what you mean... And again I'm glad that I still haven't lost you during our chats on the phone. Haha"

"Hahaha, you definitely haven't milady. I was actually hoping that you're more than just a beauty. And boy I was glad when you weren't..."

Before I could reply the waiter came with our food and wine.

"Enjoy your meal."

"Thank you" Charles and I thanked him in unison.
