Gingerbread men are MEN (ElfGreen)

Today in the Fairy Tail Guild, Mira has organised each fairy tail member into pairs and assigned them to different duties to make sure the Chritsmas party in the guild goes well.

NaLu have been assigned to tree decorating.
Jerza have been assigned to cake baking for pudding.
GaLe have been assigned to writing cards.
Gruvia have been assigned to decorations.
Rowen to wrapping gifts and ElfGreen to making gingerbread men...

~EverGreen~

"Ugh ! Why did you put me with this idiot Mira !" I complained. Now I'll have to sit through hours hearing the word 'man' on repeat.

"Because I'm a real man !" He shouted back while flexing his muscles. I face-palmed and gently banged my head on the table in despair. 

"Stop complaining or I'll assign you two more tasks. Nobody else is complaining !" Said Mira sternly while looking around at the other pairs messing around with eachother and laughing.

"Well, that's because they are couples." I said crossing my arms.

"I know, thanks to me. Ahhh~ now hurry up and get to work." She said slamming the ginger bread men on the table for us to decorate. Oh boy.

I began to take one along with some coloured icing tubes. I tried to make them all look like the guild members but the ginger bread version of them.

"That's not manly." Said Elfman grabbing the icing off me. I felt my face turn red after seeing him smudge my perfect ginger bread man in construction. I was trying to make Freed until Elfman ruined it making it look like a booger.

"You idiot !" I said smacking his head and taking the icing sugar back. He rolled his eyes at me while stroking the back of his head.

"Don't slap me, it's unmanly." He said while making a weird shape on the gingerbread man.

"What are you doing ? It looks kind of...ugly..." I say peeking over at his ginger bread person.

"I'm making you ! And you're right it looks just like you, ugly and unmanly." He stated smugly.

"You idiot !" I said through gritted teeth. That's it, I've had it with him.

I grabbed an icing tube and began squirting him all over the face with it as he flinched and frantically tried to defend himself.

"Stop wasting sugar ! It's unmanly ! Be like a real man !" He said trying to grab the icing sugar off me. When he grabbed it the tune was still facing him, causing him to squirt himself with it.

"Who's the unmanly one now..." I said as a grin of satisfaction crossed my face, looking at a pink and yellow Elfman. "You look like NaLu merged into one." I laughed.

"WE CAN HEAR YOU !!" Shouted Natsu and Lucy from the other side of the guild.

"You're paying for this....I'm a real man." He shouted grabbing four icing tubes at once into his hands.

"N-no Elfman ! Wait !" He squirted the icing tubes and I quickly ducked. Luckily they avoided me, but Lucy wasn't as lucky. Her face was covered in icing.

"Elfman !!!!!" She shouted while wiping the icing off her face. Natsu looked over at Lucy as his face twisted in anger.

"Oi ! Only I get to do that to Luce ! Now you're paying !" He said cracking his knuckles and grabbing and icing tube.

Sadly, he missed and hit Gray instead and in the space of minutes a full on icing war began.

"Stop this !" Shouted Mira walking between the crowd trying to avoid the icing from hitting her.

"Oh my goodness what a mess-"
A big splodge of icing hut her right in the forehead. The guild erupted into silence as Mira transformed into her Satan soul.

"Who's responsible for this" she hissed in annoyance. Everyone turned round and pointed at me and Elfman as we shook in fear.

"You two are staying here to clean until every single speck of icing is gone." She threatens. "The rest of you leave." Everyone immediately scampered out the guild fearing for their lives.

I grabbed a mop when Mira suddenly stopped me. "No, you'll be using this to clean. Good luck !" She chirped while handing me a tooth brush. Oh great.

"Cleaning is unmanly." Said Elfman crossing his arms over his chest.

"If you don't shut up and help me clean, I will literally make sure that you're no longer a man." He gulped at my threatening tone and grabbed another tooth brush to help me clean.

Once we'd finished cleaning I noticed Elfman had fallen asleep on the floor. I observed his cute features.

He was much cuter when he was quiet. I watched as his robust arms lay on the floor by his side next to him.

"I'm a man." He said in his sleep. "I need to prove to Evergreen that I'm a man." I felt my features soften into a smile.

"You are a man to me Elfman." I say while snuggling up to him. I may as well sleep here tonight.

I adjust myself in his arms as I feel his grip tighten around me. I feel my eyes getting heavy and soon enough drift off into dream land.

~Mira POV~

Fufufufu.....my plan is working.

I feel a proud smirk crawl onto my face.

"Mira, why are you still here ? You said we were having a movie date.." Said Laxus pouting.

"This is a movie Laxus, it's called "Mira's OTP's coming to life - Episode 9". Laxus features twist into confusion before he lets out a soft giggle.

"Oh Mira Mira..." He sighs while kissing her cheek.

~Normal POV~

The next day, the guild members walked through the door and saw the pair sleeping on the floor. Immediately they began to gather round them and murmur.

Evergreen's eyes start to twitch hinting she was about to wake up. Once she opened her eyes she was confused as to why the guild members were crowding around her.

"It's- it's not what it seem !" She shouted frantically waving her hands around.

"I'm Evergreen's man." Mumbled Elfman in his sleep causing her to turn deep red. The guild members erupted into a fit of laughter as they looked at the oblivious man and the blushing woman.

'Damn you Elfman.' She thought to herself. But deep down she knew, her heart only beat for him, and she wouldn't like to have anyone else by her side other than him.
