Some say Christmas is a magical time of the year, and that it's a time that people's wishes come true if they just wish hard enough.
Many of us as we grow up, don't believe in wishes or miracles. In fact we begin to lose the magical feeling Christmas brought to us, like many of the Fairy Tail guild members.
Most of the guild had lost their belief in Christmas miracles, except from one girl.
Her name was Juvia, and this is her story about how her wish came true.
~Juvia POV~
"Juvia ! Mind passing the star for a second instead of staring at the ones outside ?" Asked Erza as she lifted Makarov onto her shoulders so that he could reach the top of the tree.
It was Fairy Tail's tradition to have the guild master put the star on the tree, even though he couldn't reach.
"Sure." I smiled picking the star out the box and passing it to Erza. Everyone cheered as the master placed the star at the top of the tree, everyone except gloomy Gray.
"Gray, are you okay ?" I asked walking over to him. He was sitting in the corner all by himself while the guild celebrated. It was Christmas Eve after all, how can anyone not be happy.
"I'm fine." He answered dryly.
"You don't look it." I said sitting down next to him.
"I said I'm fine !" He snapped. I couldn't help but feel sad at his sudden anger. I didn't like it when he snapped at me. It hurt me twice as much than if anyone else would do it.
That is because I love Gray, and I have for a long time.
I stood up and let him be as I didn't want him to be the cause of my Christmas mood being crushed.
I looked around me and saw everyone having so much fun together.
Happy held the mistletoe over Natsu and Lucy's head, causing Lucy to blush red as Natsu kissed her.
Jellal and Erza were sharing a strawberry cake while Wendy and Romeo were shyly exchanging gifts. Ah, young love.
And of course, poor Levy was being used as an arm rest by Gajeel !
"Juvia ! Come join us, we're just about to make some hot chocolate." Shouted Mira noticing that I was standing alone.
"I'm fine Thankyou, I think I'm just going to go home." I shrugged. I didn't want to ruin the mood here, and I didn't want to annoy Gray.
"Ok, you sure ?" She asked as she looked at me with concern.
"Yup." I smiled. "I'll be back tomorrow to open the gifts with you guys, don't worry. I'm just a bit tired." I said half honestly.
"I understand ! Well goodnight." She smiled as she gave me a quick hug.

The cold air quickly hit me as my feet sunk into the soft snow. I looked around me as the streets lit up in many different colours.
There was such a happy atmosphere everywhere.
Snowmen on the sidewalk, barely any cars, families gathered together laughing and enjoying themselves on this special day.
I arrived at my house and slipped my damp shoes and jacket off and quickly changed into some warm pyjamas.
I sat on the window sill where I usually sat.
I liked to look up at the stars near Christmas time because since I was small, my mother told me that if I looked up at the biggest star shining through the night sky and wished hard enough, my wish would come true.
