Jake opened his eyes to see cake in front of his eyes. Jake started gawking in awe. This could be his dream come true. In all his life, he had always wanted a dream like this.
"Hello?" asked Jake as he got up. "Wow, this place is huge!"
Indeed the place was huge, for all around him he was surrounded by a fluffy substance. It looked particularly similar to cream. Jake bent down and took a little taste. It was cream!
Jake decided to look around. He walked for a few minutes around the fluffy terrain before he encountered the greatest thing his eyes had ever seen. In front of him there lay a giant mountain. But that wasn't the spectacular part, it was what it was made out of. In front of Jake lay his greatest dream, a giant cake! The cake looked like one of those cakes Grandma would have made for him. With the fourteen layers of cream and sixteen layers of cake, this was truly Grandma's work.
"This is a dream come true. A cake world?" Jake pondered. He took a little chunk out of the mountain. His eyes were dazzling. "This cake, this cake tastes like Grandma's cake!!!!!" shouted Jake.
Then off in the distance, he heard something. It sounded like a scream. Jake turned the other way and took another bite out of the mountain. The more he ate from the mountain. The louder the sound of the screaming became.
At one point, Jake couldn't handle it anymore. "What in the world is that sound?" shouted Jake as loud as he could. Suddenly, the world started shaking. Then the fluffy cream tops of the cake mountain started to disintegrate. Seconds after, the great spongy layers of the mountain started to disappear layer by layer until there was nothing left. Even then, it didn't seem to end. The world around Jake vibrated with his name in the shouts and screams as the world completely dissipated.
------------------"Jake, WAKE UP!!!!!" screamed Emily as she violently shook Jake.
Jake jerked awake with a start as his dream faded to a distant memory. "Hey Emily, I was having an awesome dream there until you had to wake me up!" lamented an irritated Jake.
"Well, Jake, you might want to look around you. If you didn't realize, it isn't a great time to snooze about while you're being surrounded by thousands of walkers and spiders!" shouted an even more irritated Emily at a still-groggy Jake. "Do you know what's even better?" asked Emily, "It's even better when your friend happens to be the only one who owns a sword!!!!"
"Oh sorry Emily... I'm really sorry..." Jake apologized before pivoting into the mob of mobs. With a thorough slash of his sword, he started cutting tens of zombies and spiders into oblivion. He jumped up in a great arc and separated another poisonous spider's torso in half. With Emily still gawking in awe at Jake like she always did when Jake looked more appealing than normal tussling the enemies, he ran toward a zombie sonic style and with a great thrust of his sword, he completely impaled the last walker with the full extent of his blade. With a "Raaawwwwwrrr!!!", the walker fell to the stone floors of the mine with a thump.
"Now that is how you utterly demolish a pack of mobs!" screamed Jake in a howl to no one in particular.
"Wow, pretty good Jake although I think your sword arc was a little sloppy," said Emily with an embarrassing blush on her face that she tried to hide with the shadows of the cave. Luckily though, Jake didn't see because of his over-exhausted victory.
Jake rolled his eyes, "Yeah whatever..." his voice slowly dimmed to a whisper, "Hey Emily, do you happen to know where we are?"
The two looked around them. Out of the dark, the only things their eyes could see were the faint outlines of spider web, wooden planks on the floor and stone walls.
"I think we're in an abandoned mine shaft..." whispered Emily in a hushed tone.
Jake started to smirk. Abandoned mine shafts were no threats to the magnificent Jake. "Emily, you have nothing to worry about. The only things in a mine shaft are musty cobwebs and... treasure!" realized Jake. "Emily, let's go exploring! I bet with a little luck, we'll find ourselves some delicious loot!"
"I don't know Jake. This mine shaft doesn't look very safe" Emily whispered in a hushed tone as she tested a support beam. To Jake's surprise, it made a loud creak that echoed off the walls of the mine.
"Well, we still need to find a way out anyways. We may as well try to find some loot on the way." suggested Jake.
"Fine, let's go find some loot and a way out." Emily finally agreeing. She stalked off in a random direction.
"Hey wait up!" screamed Jake as he scurried after Emily.----------------------
Behind a dark corner, a dark figure watched the pair scurry off. Making sure they had left, the figure took out a stick and attached it to the wall. It immediately burst into a dim redstone flame. The figure scurried after the pair, making sure that it did not lose sight of the pair that the captain had assigned to be guarded.
----------------As the two journeyed on, they discovered that the mine shaft often traversed over a great underground ravine. With courage in their hearts, the two continued searching for treasure and an exit.
"Hey Emily, look down!" pointed out Jake.
Out in the ravine, Emily's eyes caught the colours of red, blue and green. As Emily's eyes adjusted to the vast expanse of the ravine, she noticed that the things she saw were actually great lava falls beginning from the endless tops of the ceiling of the ravine and ending into the black oblivion of the ravine, with hundreds of heart-stopping diamonds & lapis lazuli in the wall and a ton of walkers peering out towards them
"Uh, Jake, let's move on before they see us." said Emily with a jerk of her thumb.
"But Emily, the diamonds! The lapis! We could make millions from that stuff!" exclaimed Jake.
"We'll find other stuff!" shouted Emily, already halfway across the ravine. Jake pouted as he followed her.
As the two trekked farther into the ravine, they encountered more cobwebs until everywhere they looked was filled with cobwebs.
"Emily, help me get through these annoying things! Emily? Emily, you stuck? 'Cause I am!" shouted Jake while getting in a tangle with the webs. "Emily? Where are ya?"
"Over here! I found a chest!" yelled Emily off in the distance.
"Hey no fair! Was it not my idea to look for treasure in the first place?" screamed Jake angrily. "Help me! I want some goodies too!"
Emily appeared from around a corner. "It's a shame you got tangled up Jake, otherwise you could've gotten some loot." Emily said as she started to cut the webs. "Don't bother, there's nothing left!" Emily told Jake as he scrambled toward the chest.
"No fair! No fair!" yelled Jake as if he were a little 5 year old kid being denied candy.
"Let's go and find that exit now!" yelled Emily as she waved her over-flowing bag full of golden apples, saddles, diamonds and coco beans in front of Jake.
"But I need some treasure! We can't leave without MY treasure!!" screamed Jake, his face turning bright red like a little apple.
Emily turned away snickering. She never really did understand why her face would flush. Especially in front of Jake. ESPECIALLY at times like this. She didn't know why that would happen and it irritated her ALOT. Jake was a nice guy and all but he was sometimes just so... childish. In her life, she had met many guys . Probably many more that were way better looking than him and 500 times more mature. And she knew she would never say to him in front of his face that he might perhaps on the off chance look kind of... cute. Yet... they had been friends since they were kids and... Emily sighed, she would think about it later...
"If you insist, we'll go find you some treasure..." muttered Emily as she turned around to see Jake's diamond sword in hand. "Uh Jake, what are you doing with your sword? You weren't going to kill me now?" asked Emily with a wry smile.
"No, you're my best friend! Let's go find me some treasure now!" yelled Jake, pointing his sword forward.
He took a step forward and fell through a hole.
"Really Jake? Do you love falling in holes or something?" asked Emily while shaking her head.
"My Lord, Emily, come down here! I found the mother load of obsidian!!!" shouted Jake in triumph.
"What can we do with obsidian?" asked Emily incredulously. "You can't make tools out of it and it takes a long time to mine! It's useless! No one will want it!!"
"I beg to differ! My dear Emily, we are going to the Nether. And I'm getting my treasure!!!" Jake proclaimed.
