Notch was a man of simple pleasures. He didn't actually need all the things around him: wool blankets from the Great Pixel Plains on top of his King bed made out of thick pine of the Tall Taigas. Pah. Notch didn't need any of this. Really, it was just all for show. His one real and only desire was to have the one thing he couldn't have. But Notch never divulged this secret. Not to anyone. If he did, it would wreck his heart. But nevertheless, his master plan was about to finish its final stages and he would finally have what he always wanted. "Ah. Wonderful, just on schedule..." muttered Notch as he stepped out onto the balcony to watch the show.

Emily and Herobrine were extremely relieved to find that they were done climbing the stairs. Shoulder to shoulder, the pair had been supporting each other ever since reaching the 100th step of Notch's great tower. Emily remembered what Hero had said to her when they reached an extremely elegant and decorated hallway. In the shadows of the gold block ceiling, Hero had explained how it was from there that they would have to begin a great trek up 174 big stairs to reach the top of Notch's tower. From there they would be able to activate the command block.

"Now here we are..." thought Emily.

With a wheezing voice, Hero directed Emily to a great door. "Here we... we... we..." Emily took out a water bottle and a potion of healing.

"Here, have a drink." said Emily as she tossed it to Herobrine, who looked like he was about to faint from exhaustion. Refreshing themselves and feeling replenished, the two walked up to the door.

With one big effort, the duo pushed open the two heavy doors.

"And what do we have here?"

Notch was a man of great importance. Rich as he was, he liked to consider himself an equal to the citizens of Minecraftia - most of the time at least. Out on the balcony of the tower, Notch had a panoramic view of the heavens. One of few buildings that pierced the cloud line of the world, Notch's tower offered a view of a fluffy, blocky sea of clouds, occasionally pierced by other towers belonging to Notch's great palace headquarters. A few blocks to the east, Notch noticed that someone or something was emerging out of the set of great oak doors on the Royal Tower. Finally, Notch was to be entertained after all his hard work in planning and scheming. But where was the opponent? Suddenly, Notch felt the floor begin to shake. At first, it was just a little rattle. But in mere seconds, the rattling was amplified tenfold. Notch had to hold on to the railings of the balcony just to ensure that he didn't fall off. Then Notch realized what was happening. The ground wasn't shaking. The world was shaking. Notch had a smile on his face. He was about to be entertained.

---------------------

As the shaking became more and more intense, the surroundings of Minecraftia began to change. The sun was slowly fading. As the light began to dim, shadows formed everywhere. From there spawned monsters that only appeared in the nightmares of Minecraftians. The sun finally settled into a dim light of fiery red, the colour of a redstone torch. The shadows in the sky became bigger and more apparent until they settled into a murky dark blackness. From there, if one dared to look, some might say that they saw a million eyes watching them back. And in the middle of this, a little light was beginning to form. What seemed like an inconsistent shape of light soon settled into the figure of a human. All of a sudden, the shaking stopped. All was eerily quiet. Not even the cries of the monsters could be heard. The world was as silent as a soundless game. Then the light exploded in a great ball of flame! Emily, Hero, Notch, the monsters and every citizen of Minecraftia were knocked backwards.
