I groan as we continue walking my feet killing me. I don't know how but I have a feeling Anthony was telepathically talking to Rhett. When Anthony saved me from diaster we started heading to Rhett who was talking to a group of men.

With the most striking women I've ever seen on his shoulder. She had a flawless face with perfectly arched eyebrows, a nice small delicate nose and the redest eyes ever. I mean like flaring eyes, flirty eyes.

She playfully hit Rhetts shoulder throwing the most dazzling smile ever. I swear all vampires have perfect looks. Despite myself I couldn't help but feel jealous, here I was a human-a stupid girl as Rhett tolled me, and there she was catching eyes everywhere. I felt like I needed to throwup. I turned to scan the room finally notcing how packed the place really is. i felt helpless in this moment. It was overwhelming. More than anything I wanted to be with Eva. What I'm used to.

There was multiple girls with detailed and decorated leashes around their necks like dogs. One girl in peculiar caught my attention.

She had a pale face with freckles dotting her cheeks and nose. Her red hair in waves down her back. A pretty light red dress that flared at the bottom. She caught my eyes her green ones timidly looking down to the ground again.

She looks familiar-really familiar.

I turn and see Anthony is making his way to the group.I have two choices. Go with Anthony and see Rhett and the women flirt or go to the girl.

Ehhh...I'll just go to the girl, but Rhett said to not talk to anyone. Not talk to anyone my ass, he's flirting with that women the least I can do is talk to another girl as well.

I start heading over to the girl as she squirms trying to look for an escape.

Nunugh

I finally stop in front of her. I bend down a little bit trying to see her face "ughh..hi..I'm Leslie."
She stays quiet I almost huff in impatience.

"Can..can you at least lift your head?"

She slowly does and the first think I notice is the collar with the name natalie printed on it.
I gasp looking up at her.

"Natalie...is..is it really you?" Her eyes widen before her quiet voice says.

"I thought you wouldn't notice me."

"Notice you!?Natalie I thought you we-"

"Well hello there- I was wondering when Ottava would let you go so I can snatch you up."

I mentally cringe as I look up at a tall man with spiky dyed orange hair. And guess what-he's also handsome and a vampire. I bow remembering remberimg manners.

"Hello sir nice to meet you..uhhh?"

"Lucas Irtell."

"Mr.Irtell." I finish

"I'm Leslie Mr.Ottavas personal assistant."

He smiles at me-but this smile is different. It doesn't send warning chills it's actually a friendly smile.

"Nice to formally meet you, I see you already met my pet Natalie."

I hate him. Screw his friendly smile.

I drop my small smile glancing at Natalie fianlly noticing small mark bites on her neck covered by her collar.

"Yes I did-actually can I speak with you in private?"

Let's just hope to god my plan works.

"Private?" he asks his eyes going into slits.

I challenge him as well and use my famous stare down face.

"Yes private Mr.Irtell unless you have a problem with that?"

He smirks "and what would we talk about?"

I glare at him glancing at Natalie as she fidgets under my gaze.

My gaze softens.

"About a dear friend who is hurting."

His eyebrows scrunch up.

I set my eyes back in him "we can come to an agreement-but in order for that you would need a brain right?" I wink at him.

He snorts before chuckling "well you are something else huh? Let's go somewhere private-"

"I'm sorry but you will be going nowhere with my assissant Lucas."

I almost groan. Great Rhetts girl.
I turn slightly and see the girl still on his shoulders.

Suck it up Leslie.

I turn towards Rhett bowing at the girl.

"hello it's nice to meet up." She sends me a glare before quickly covering up with a smile.
You know what her smile is too bright.

My eyes widen lightly. Didn't expect that. Looks can be deceiving. She laughs lightly "I've been dying to get my claws on the girl everyone is talking about-only to find her with no-good Irtwell and his pet." She hisses but has a casual smile on.

"Hey i-" I interrupt Lucas quite blunt with rudness.

"And I've been dying to talk to the woman who everyone calls a bitch-I see I've just met her." I flutter my eyelashes innocently before turning to Lucas.

"I'm terribly sorry Lucas I guess we have to talk later somewhere without getting interrupted." I apologize sincerely.

Without a second I grab Natalie in a painstaking hug surprising her and everyone else.

"Oh and this pet has a name-Natalie." I say loving seeing the women's face in surprise and shock. Oh hell I'm surely going to die later when Rhett gets his hands on me.

I hear clapping and turn to Anthony who strolls over here . "my beautiful dear! I got to keep my eyes on you don't I!? Come child let's go outside before Jessica kills you!" he laughs but grabs my hand throwing a hand around my waist leading me out with his vampire speed. Once we get outside goosebumps form on my arms.

"I'm so dead" I whisper. I don't know what took over me. Maybe tiredness, maybe pettiness, maybe the saddens of seeing someone I know look lost.

He pats my head, "I do quite admire your bravery, I absolutey hate Jessica, you like me are one of the few to call her a bitch, that child takes courage..plus you looked really hot you know just getitng her in face and dude she looked like she wanted to kill you but then thank-"

"I'm so dead" I repeat staring helplessy out into the night.

Anthony grins at me before frowning "yea ..you are."
