When Rhett said the men would be coming over to discuss I thought he meant later on. So imagine my surprise when I walk inside looking like a gift somebody's ready to unwrap in a room full of men.

I stupidly stand there eye wide gaping at the men.

"Yesss!see it doesn't look to bad actually in fact it looks really sexy!I choose you over any regular old fat guy in a suit." I glare at Anthony squeezing ny belt imagining choking him.

"Leslie please come here and meet Rudy Santiago-the man we are trying to come with an agreement with." I turn toward Rhett who is sitting in his chair behind his desk like the handsome man he is.

Cut it out Leslie!

I start walking but jump when I feel a hand smack my ass.I turn around fuming seeing Anthony grin at me. Doing the most lady like thing I stick my finger at him and continue walking to Rhetts desk. But did it behind my back.

It's really hard being a lady.

I stand next to Rhett who is avoiding my curious gaze. I look at the man sitting across from him.

Handsome vampire he is with blue hair with strikes of black in them.

Lean body-not to fit but you can see he does a good job at keeping his body in shape.

I smile at him "hello Mr. Santiago it's a pleasure to meet you and I hope you and Mr.Ottava come to an agreement at.." I bit my lip looking up not knowing exactly what they need to discuss

"whatever you need to?"

He tilts his head and I almost roll my eyes.

"I wasn't exactly informed at what time you would be here and what exactly we need to discuss-my apologies I'm quite new at this assistant thing."

He hums before grining "she's a keeper Mr.Ottava and it was partly my fault I came early I just wanted to see the human who tolled Jessica off."

I smile despite the bitch "I couldn't contain myself she...shes..just ugh you know."

He chuckles "oh trust me I know."

Rhett clears his throat "may we stop the chatter and get back to the deal." My eyes widen before I shut my mouth.

"Ofcourse now as I was saying."

I kind of dozed off as the two men talked thinking about Eva. I miss her so much.

I haven't seen her at all until last night night before I left to the ball. She defintily seems alot more happier and her smiles aren't forced. Oh my gawd!christmas is tomorrow.

I always no matter how badly we are struggling try to get her a christmas gift. I honestly don't even remember the last time we celebrated Christmas I would always try to get her something nice but it's ahrd

I suddenly felt Eva-sick we've been away for so long. What if something bad happened, what if she fell!? Hit her head on something!? What if she angered a vampire and they bite her.Mary would have tolled me right?

Plus these heels are killing me. I know I'm suppose to be an assistant but today is Eva day and I'm starting to get worried. I unclench and clench my hands at my side.

"Great so by monday I'll have everything ready and shipped over." I hear Santiago say.

"Yes unfo-"

I cut them off "so sorry for the interruption but I must go! I...I have to check on something." While saying this I take the hells off my feet meeting the hardwood floor.

I throw my heels at Anthony yelling catch, good thing he has fast reflexes.

"what do you want me to do with these?" he asks as I push by the guards who trip back.

"Burn them duhhh!" I run out the office looking for eva.

I need to be an adult. Rhett could kill my over this. It's childish. But what's even more childish is me dressed like this and not actually doing a job. What am I even doing? I haven't done anything for what he expects of me. But right now I miss Eva. And with that I strive for with a purpose .

I run around the mansion getting several werid looks a few times before I see Mary.

"Mary!mary!"I yell at her and she drops her basket full of clothes.

"L-l-leslie what are you doing here aren't you suppose to be wi-" she looks down at my bare feet

"What happened to the heels!?"

I ignore her asking "where's Eva!?I..I need to see her."

She frowns "She's with Ms.Harris is something wrong dear?"

My heart goes back to normal and my eyes soften "yes..can..can you please take me to them?"

She scans me before smiling "sure its this way honey."

"Leily!"

I smile picking my baby sister up smoldering her with kisses as she giggles in my arms. I walk over to Ms.harris carefully hugging her tight.

"How are you?" I ask noticing a healthy glow to her old skin.

"Never been better,....I still have my doubts about these vampires but I never felt better before." she admits sighing.

I smile at her "I'm just glad your ok." she nods before growing glancing at me.

"Are you OK dear?"

I inhale "yes...just got a little Eva sick from staying away and missing you, I'm sorry for not visiting sooner, you wouldn't believe the things that had happened."

She pats my shoulder "it's quite alright dear, why don't we just go relax in the garden."

My eyebrows scrunch together "there's a garden?"

I never really walked around the mansion and see what's around.

Ms.harris smiles her eyes shining "yes..it's beautiful. ..you'll like it..let's have lunch out there and catch up."

I hold eva and look at Ms.harris "yea...that would be perfect."
