Weeks went by, and I steadily got use to working with Rhett. He seemed to distance himself. The more he distanced the more I saw Jessica lounging around in his office. He even stayed away from Anthony after the little stunt. Anthony didn't seem bothered by Rhett. He unfortunaly had to leave to go 'somewhere' and won't be back for a month or two.

You can imagine the frown I had when I went to see him off. He may be incredibly annoying and obxnious but he was just..there for me. I may seem like I rather be somehere else than next to Anthony but the days he was able to accompany me to work it was always fun.

We would always throw insults at each other and he would constantly pull my hair. With him gone, it seemed kind of empty. He was the one person besides Mary and Ms.Harris that I actually talk to.

On the day he left I couldn't help myself but give him a tight hug hopefully that incorpated some type of pain on him.

"Come back bitch." I mumured into his chest, my cheeks squished on his shirt.

He chuckled returning the hug wrapping his hands around me.
"I know, you'll miss my sexy ass."

I pushed away from his arms making a 'psh' sound denying it, but secertly I would miss him.

I rolled my eyes at him, "the only thing I'll miss is insulting you on your tiny winy di-"

He ruffled my hair growling. "yes thank god I'll be away from you, denying me of mind blowing sex from women."

I smile at him shaking my head before patting his shoulder."bye Anthony."

He winked at me turning to get in the car, he hesisted turning around to face me. "Hey Leslie, don't worry about Rhett alright."

I kept my gaze on him before sighing, "ain't nothing to worry about."

He nodded at me before disappearing in the jet black car, going pass the gate to god knows where.

Later on that day, I played with Eva outside until the sun set. It was friday and I didn't have work. Rhett said he had business that did not involve me. I saw him get in his black limo, Jessica waiting for him with a flirty smile. Of course it still hurt seeing him, and it was getting diffucult to supress any kind of emotions.

It was now 10 o'clock and Eva feel asleep watching her now favorite cartoon 'spongebob square pants'. I put my elbow on one pillow that kept me lifted. I played with her baby hairs on the side of her head.

She's gotten more meat on her, and isn't super skinny like she was before. Her nose twitched in her sleep and she shuffled before settling again. I pulled the blanket up covering her making sure she wasn't too cold.

"Leslie, is there anything I can get you before I go to bed?" Asked Mary as she lowered the volume down on the T.V.

"Actually yes, can you lay next to Eva...I would like to go to the kitchen."

Mary eyebrows scrunched together. "I can get anything you need Lesl-"

"No it's alright I need to stretch my legs..besides you've been walking around all day. Plus I don't wan't Eva to be alone incase she wakes up."

Mary nods before slipping her shoes off sitting on the bed as I slip off.

"You can lay down if you want to get more comfortable." I suggest before opening the door.

Mary nods at me before I slip through the door into the hallway. I jumped a little as my feet touched the cold floor. Even with my socks, the floor was chilly. I looked both ways before continuing down into the kitchen.
