Niall Horan - The meet up

I smiled a huge smile as we drove into my hometown. I was so excited to be back. I started pointing out all the local places to Niall.
"That was my school, oh and that bar was where I had my first kiss" I laughed, "oh that little shop is where I had my first job" I said as we pulled up a small side street. " and, and I do my shopping in there and we get or turkey from there at Christmas" I said pointing out the window at the local meat store, like an excited child looking at toys.
"Okay I get that your excited to be home" he laughed "it's actually really interesting to see where you grew up" he looked genuinely interested.
"Okay take a left here down this road and then a right and my house is on the left on top of the hill" I said pointing out the window, trying to give Niall directions. I lived pretty much in the middle of no where, in rural Northern Ireland. I loved living out here, close to nature and I thought it would do Niall good to get away to somewhere quiet at Christmas. I think it would do us both good.

As we parked up outside the house I grew up in, I could see my mum and dad come out the front door.
"Ohhh it's so good to have you home at last sweetheart" and she pulled me in for a hug.
Inside and out of the cold I introduced my parents to Niall properly. "Mum, dad this is Niall" I said as I turned and put my arm around him.
"Really nice to meet you at last, 'Mr and Mrs Kearney"
"Oh don't be calling us that, I'm Tom and this is Alison" my dad said as he shook Niall's hand.
"Come on in to the living room, and I'll bring in some tea and something light to eat. Go on in" my mum said as she ushered us down the hall and into the lounge.

"How's , Adam, Henry and Matty? I haven't spoken to any of them in a little while" I asked mum as I handed her the plate of cookies
"Oh Adams, working late, but said he'll call round later, Henry won't me coming until tomorrow, he's looking after the kids because Claire's at some work do and Matt hasn't told me yet what he's planning to do for Christmas"
"I didn't realise you had so many brothers, I thought you only had one" Niall said as he placed his hand on my leg.
"You worried, about meeting Eliza's big brothers Niall" my mum said jokingly
"Don't be worrying about it babe" I said as I gave him a playful pat on the cheek.

We sat in front of the fire all in conversation, until he heard the back door open and my brother Adam popped his head around the living room door.
"Room for one more" he laughed as he came. "Hey Eliza your home" he said as he gave me a brotherly hug. Adam was definitely the brother who was most protective of me. He's four years older, but we've always been close, and it was great to see hims again after it being so long.
"And you must be Niall" he said as he walked towards my boyfriend "great to meet ya mate" Adam said as he gave Niall a friendly pat on the arm.
We all settled back into the sofas and just enjoyed being back in each other's company.
