I had a hundred missed calls from Niall when I woke the next morning, but I decided to ignore them, I was still so annoyed with him. I put my phone on silent and just decided to get on with my day and put everything to the back of my mind.

I sat at my desk and lifted my copy of Jane Eyre and began to type up my notes on my laptop. At least with no Niall to distract me I could finally get on with this assignment that I'd constantly be putting off for the past few weeks, because I'd rather have spent time with Niall, but things are different now, I really couldn't be bothered to talk to him. But as the day drew on and progressed into the night, my phone was still continuing to buzz and ring with missed calls from him, and he had left me several text messages. In all honesty I did want to speak to him but I was just being stubborn.
Eventually my heart gave in and I answered one of his calls.

"Babe? God I can't believe you've actually answered, you know I've been trying to ring you all day"
"I know, I've been busy Niall!" I answered back
"Oh right sorry, I just thought I should ring and check if you've calm down after yester....."
"Wait?! Check if I've calmed down, we where both as bad as each other. You know this is just typical you, never wanting to take the blame for something you've done!" I couldn't believe him, trying to pass off the blame like that.
"Eliza I didn't mean it like that. But obviously your not over this yet"
"Of course I'm not over it, things were terrible yesterday"
"Look, whatever Eliza I'm fed up trying to sort this out. I think your just over reacting"
I began to interrupt but he cut me off. "Will you just let me finish, I still love you Eliza, but we clearly need time apart. You know I'm going to America on Monday, so maybe this is the perfect opportunity for us to get space"
"Fine if that's what you want" I said quietly and hung up the phone.
