My eyes fluttered open as light streamed in through the gap in the curtains, I rolled over and checked the time on my phone, 10:07, I had class in a few hours, but I just lay there staring at the ceiling.
It had been three days since I'd meet Niall and three days since I'd heard anything from him. I was confused as to why he'd not been in contact, I mean we'd exchanged numbers in the bar and after he left later that night he said he'd like to see me again, but maybe for someone like Niall he was used to being with girls on a one off and he didn't really mean what he said.
I told myself to get over it, I had more important things to focus on, like my class, and getting my degree and also breakfast I thought.

"Who was that you where with the other night? I didn't get s chance to ask you earlier"  I heard a voice ask me as I entered the kitchen. Kyle was sitting at the table, mouth full of cornflakes and looking slightly worse for wear. At least they didn't recognise who he was, to be honest I just think they where to drunk to take much notice.
"No one" I answered back, I wasn't going to go into detail and tell him about the night I'd spent with Niall, I wanted to keep it just for me.
"Come on, we all saw you leave, kicking off uni life in style I can see, did you get some then?" He continued on.
"No, just drop it will you!" I snapped back. I was annoyed that Niall hadn't  been in touch and I guess I just didn't want to talk about it.
"Okay jeez Eliza, I was only trying to make conversation."
"It's fine, I just don't want to talk about it" I said as I grabbed, my bowl and spoon and went back to my room, I couldn't be bothered to stay in the kitchen and have another awkward conversation.
