When you get in the hospital, you are usually give a white wristband.
You get different wristbands for different things, for example red, is the one for patients who have died.
One night, a night surgeon was on break and was going to his car to grab some snacks he had left in there. He hopped in the elevator with another man and woman. On there way down, they stopped on the third floor and woman was approaching. The man got out, and another woman was on her way in when the surgeon quickly closed the elevator doors and going to the highest floor possible.
The woman in the elevator looked appalled and said "That was rude! Why on earth would you do that?"
"I just preformed a surgery on that woman," Said the surgeon "She didn't make it. Didn't you see the red wristband she was wearing?"
The woman just looked at him and then finally said "You mean a wristband like this?" revealing a red wristband on her arm.
