Janet was on her way to pick up her daughter, Margaret, from school. She was about half way there was she realized she was short on gas and if she didn't stop soon she was going to run out.
Reluctantly, Janet pulled into a gas station. While, she was pumping gas a man in a suit and tie, holding a briefcase walked up to her and said " I'm very sorry to bother you, but is there any chance you can take me home? My car broke down. "
Janet decided that he looked trustworthy and decided she would take him. Once she was done pumping gas they both got into the car.
"We'll have to pick up my daughter from school before I can drop you off, is that okay?" Asked Janet.
"Oh of course!" Said the man. They were about to pull out of the parking lot when the man stopped her and told her he left something in the gas station. The man jumped out of the car and headed to the gas station.
While waiting, Janet checked the time and realized she was late in picking up Margaret. Forgetting about the man, she took off.
Janet didn't remember about the man until Margaret stepped in the car and asked whose brief case was sitting in the car. Janet felt terrible! She left the man there and stole his briefcase!
Determined to return the briefcase, she opened it hoping to find and papers with his name on it, instead she opened the briefcase all she found was duct tape and a knife.
