Where are they? Meredy wondered, walking around randomly. She had passed countless Council members, the frog-like humans, and the God forsaken pillars. She hurriedly mumbled an apology as she bumped into a Council member and looked for the silver and pink hair she had seen a moment before.
She spotted the white-ish, silver hair and she tried her best to avoid any casualties trying to get to it. "Wagh!" She cried out as she tripped over webbed foot. The frog-like human scowled at her before stepping away. Meredy hung her head and immediately put it back up, trying to hone Lyon and Sherria.
She huffed as she grabbed the back of Lyon's shirt. She was hunched over panting. In her position, she noticed that Lyon was wearing baggy black pants. Wait-black pants? Meredy slowly looked up and saw a black top that was equally baggy, and farther up, a buff face that was looking at her in confusion, a scar on his face.
"Um," Meredy squeaked.
"Who are you?" He asked, a Fairy Tail emblem on his neck. "What's wrong Elfman?" Meredy heard a sweet voice ask, and a woman with long, pretty snow colored hair appeared next to Elfman. "Oh, hello," she said cheerfully as Meredy let go of her grip. "I just saw you at the Council meeting!" she beamed. ""I'm Mirajane."
Meredy slowly nodded. "Elfman, I know you saw her too, unless you were too busy ogling over Evergreen," Mirajane continued.
Elfman sputtered, his face turning red by every second.
"Mira-nee, Elf-nii-chan?" Another voice, sounding a bit like Mirajane. "Who are you staring at? Or is it a what?" A girl that looked a lot like Mirajane appeared on the other side of Elfman. She had short, white hair. "Oh!" she exclaimed. "Aren't you Meredy?" Meredy nodded, looking at them one by one. The newer girl smiled. "I'm Lisanna, and this is Mira-nee, and Elf-nii-chan. Well, everyone else calls them Mirajane or Elfman."
"What's the hold up, Mira?" Meredy knew this voice. Erza. As if the thought summoned her, she was standing next to Mirajane the next second. "Meredy!" Erza said, smiling. "Hello!"
"Juvia heard Meredy!" Juvia said, rushing to the small group in the back of the Fairy Tail group. "Meredy!" Juvia squealed, hugging her. Meredy smiled. "Juvia!" she said happily, hugging back.
"Juvia?" A masculine voice asked, slightly tinged with annoyance. "Juvia?"
Juvia let go of Meredy and stood on her tiptoes, waving her hand in the air. "Gray-sama! Juvia is here! With Meredy!" Gray's footsteps were heard as he came next to Lisanna. Gray raised an eyebrow. "Weren't you supposed to be with Lyon?" he asked. Meredy nodded again. "Well, why aren't you?"
"I lost track of where they were," she said, pulling up her hood in habit. Gray yanked it back down. "Hey!" Meredy protested.
Gray looked at Meredy sternly. "If you don't want to be a criminal, don't where the hood," he said. "Don't give people the impression you're hiding." Meredy slowly looked down and nodded. Juvia sighed, clasping her hands. "Gray-sama, please do what you just did to Meredy to Juvia!" Gray looked at Juvia in a look: ...Really. "You don't even have clothing with a hoodie attached," he deadpanned. "But-but-Gray-sama!" Juvia wailed. "Meredy, is it all right it Juvia borrows your cloak?!" Meredy looked amused.
Meredy spent the next few minutes laughing and chatting with the Fairy Tail members, momentarily forgetting that she was supposed to find Lyon and Sherria. "S-Shut up!" Gray yelped after Meredy told them a particularly teasing moment of Gray. "A-Anyway...weren't you supposed to meet with Lyon?" The traces of Meredy's smile vanished as she gasped. "Oh no!" she cried. "Lyon!"
"Meredy," came a voice behind Meredy. "Is this where you were while I walked around for thirty minutes trying to find you?" Meredy slowly turned around and saw Lyon glaring at her. Meredy flinched and tried for a smile.
"Meredy," Lyon said again, face-palming. "Why did you not come with us in the first place?"
"I was talking to Jellal," Meredy mumbled, looking down at the ground. "And then I saw you and Sherria round a corner, so I followed. I also thought that Elfman was you, so I grabbed his shirt." Lyon gawked at Meredy. "I," he said, astonished. "Look like someone else? Someone that's somewhat a few feet taller than me?" Elfman frowned.
"Yes."
"Meredy," Lyon said for the third time. "We are going to be on a mission, you know. A very important mission, I must say." He gave a smug look to Gray and Gray snorted. Lyon's smug look wiped away as he looked at Meredy again. "And you're involved. And Sherria. And the other pipsqueak from this guild..." Lyon looked beyond the cluster of mages and saw a blue haired girl that wasn't Juvia. She was wearing a backpack and reassuring a white cat.
"Shandy or something like that," Lyon finished.
"It's Wendy!" Sherria appeared next to Lyon, hands on her hips. She directed her frown to Meredy. "Where were you?" Meredy panicked in the inside. Does she hate me already?
"I was worried sick!" Sherria concluded with a smile. "Don't disappear on me and my lover like that."
"I'm not your lover," Lyon griped. "I never have and never will be." Sherria blissfully ignored Lyon and beamed at Meredy, before dragging Wendy over with the white cat at her heels. The cat spoke. "I still don't think Wendy should go without me," she insisted. It was clearly an argument that had been drawn out for quite a while.
"She'll be fine, Miss Carla," Lyon said. "She'll be perfectly fine with me and Sherria." Meredy was silent. "And Meredy of course," Lyon added hastily. Carla huffed. A blue cat, Happy, if Meredy remembered correctly, flew next to Carla. "Wendy'll be fine," he said, dragging Carla away.
Lyon sighed as the group slowly disappeared, due to Master Makarov making them go to the train station. "Come on, Meredy," Lyon said. "Time to meet Lamia Scale now."
