I yawn as I walk into my new school the next morning. I look at my schedule paper and try to find my class. I find it, but since I am kind of early I go to walk around a bit to get to know the place a little better. I continue to walk a while until I stop when I notice one room.
"Music Room three, huh?" I say to myself.
I open the door slowly then look around.
"Hello?" I say loud enough just in case someone is in there.
I walk in a bit, then look in every direction. Just in case, I speak once more.
"Hello...?"
No one speaks. I shrug and walk around the room, looking for instruments. I continue until I see a curtain. I become curious and pull it back. I gasp as it reveals a grand piano. Tears of happiness began to fill my eyes. It is so elegant and beautiful looking. I've never seen one this nice in my life. I run my fingers across the keys, remembering the feeling of when I used to play it. I sit down on the bench and inhale, then start playing "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys. I sing along with it, getting completely into the music and falling back in love with the piano again. I don't realize I'm still playing until I finish the song and someone opens the door.
"Hello? Is somebody in here?" a voice says.
I run and hide behind the nearest column. My heart starts beating faster and I try hard not to let my breathing sound heavily. The person walks around a bit then stops.
"Hmm... I thought I heard someone playing the piano and singing. Oh well." The person starts walking.
The bell rings for people to start walking to their class and I sigh in relief when the person is gone. I walk up to the door and look around to see if anyone is looking at me. Nobody seems to, so I straighten out my clothes then walk out the door to my class.
I make it into my class just as the bells rings. I scrunch my face, knowing it's not good to be late on the first day of school. I look at everyone and they're all whispering to each other. Great... I scan everyone but stop when I see the boy from yesterday. He smiles then waves at me. I raise an eyebrow and laugh a little then wave back. The teacher walks in and smiles at me.
"You must be our new student! Shape-el Tay-sa, right?" {A/N: I did the hyphens because that's how the teacher pronounced it}
"It's actually Shapp-elle Tah-see-uh but-"
"Nice to meet you, Shape-el! Have a seat next to Fujioka Haruhi, please." She motions her hand to the boy.
I sigh, walking to the empty seat next to Haruhi and two boys who are twins. The teacher starts talking about the week and I almost start falling asleep. I sigh in relief as the bell rings to walk to the first class. I hear someone call for me and I see Haruhi running after me.
"Hi, Shappell! Where you off to?" he asks.
I didn't notice before, but he kind of has a girly tone to his voice. Weird.
"Oh, you can call me Tasia. I don't mind." I smile.
"Okay. Then you can call me Haruhi." He smiles back lightly.
I nod then say, "Well, I'm headed off to this classroom, but I don't exactly know where it is."
"We can show you where that is."
I look up to see the twins from earlier, smirking at me. They look so much alike... Shut up, Tasia! Of course they're going to look alike, they're twins! But they're so attractive! Wait what.
"Oh Tasia! This is Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin. I guess they have the same class as you. Let me know if they bother you. They most likely will, so sorry in advance! Good luck!" Haruhi runs off to his next class.
