Chapter 14

My dad, Taras and I wrap an arm around each other then bow to the clapping crowd. We quickly grab our bags and hats then run for the trees, changing as we do so. Once we are out of our disguises, Taras puts a hand at my waist and pulls me towards him. He pretends to whisper something in my ear and I pretend to giggle at it. My dad sits near a tree and pretends to be reading a novel. Once the fangirls pass, we all sigh and look at each other.

"That was relieving! I missed singing with you, Tar!" I hug his side.

He smiles and ruffles my hair.

"Me too, cheesecake."

Weird nickname, huh? Yeah well around the time when the two of us first met, he had a cheesecake with him for lunch and I kept eyeballing it. He noticed and let me have it, which I praised him for. I scarfed it down and every lunch after that, he brought me a cheesecake leading to the nickname of cheesecake. I don't mind it at all. I gave him the embarrassing kid-like nickname of Tar-Tar, so he can call me whatever he wants. He chose cheesecake and we instantly loved the nickname.

"So the twins haven't found out about this, right?" My dad asks, walking up to us.

I shake my head. Taras looks at me, weird.

"The twins?"

"Yeah those twins you met a couple days ago. They might find out about this soon." I play with my hair, innocently.

"Tasi, you need to be more careful." He grips my hands.

"I know! I know!"

"I'm coming to school with you tomorrow."

"W-wait what?"

"I don't trust those boys with you yet. Have any of them tried to get at you?! Have any of them seen you in your undergarments?!" Taras freaks out and shakes my shoulders.

"Dad... Taras is being a dad again..." I complain.

"Taras, I met them all and they're all great people. I trust them." My dad wraps an arm around his shoulders.

"I'm still coming." He happily skips off with the two of us watching them in shock.

"How come you and Taras aren't together?!"

"If he isn't your boyfriend, can I go for him?"

"He's so cute!"

"He can also sing!"

The girl customers I have start to squeal. I look at Taras to see him smile, sweetly, making the girls fangirl even more. Taras puts an arm my shoulders and rubs his nose against my right cheek, making me roll my eyes.

"I am dating her!" He kisses my shoulder.

"Stoooop." I whine and push him, playfully.

"Aww so cute!" They say.

"Hey Tasia! We have a question." The twins say from behind me.

I turn to see their faces close to mine. My eyes widen when my eyes are in direct contact of Kaoru's lips. My face reddens and I back up a bit, clearing my throat.

"What's up, Hitachiins?"

"We want to know if this outfit is cute." They hold up a cute little Mad Hatter costume and my smile widened.

They look at each other and smirk. Taras face palms. He knowssss.

"You just found her weakness." He mutters.
