Chapter Six

Yoandri's POV

Let's do it.

I look at my family and we knock on the Winchesters' door. Angelia's mom, Jeanette opens the door and I smile at her as she lets us in, "Come in, come in. It's so good to see you."

I walk in and take off my coat, hanging it in the coat closet near the door. We enter the living room and my mom motions for me to go with the teenagers that were chilling in the basement. "Nah, Angelia is probably down there. She might want alone time."

My mother slaps my arm and scowls, "Mi hijo. Go." I sigh and nod. I walk down the sleek marble footsteps and I hear Angelia laughing. I smile and when she sees me she walks over to me. "What's up hot stuff?" I chuckle and hug her, "Nothing much."

We sit down together just as a guy sits down and slides an empty water bottle in the middle, "SPIN THE BOTTLE!" Angelia snorts and sits on the floor, "Bring it on."

I sit down as well and I see some girls eyeing me. I sit closer to Angelia, feeling a bit insecure. There were no familiar faces at all and I felt out of place.

Angelia senses my discomfort and says, "Hey. It's cool if you don't want to play. We can just go outside and watch the lights." I smile at her and mutter, "Later."

She smiles and lays her head on my shoulder. A guy with baby blue eyes and dark brown hair spins the bottle and it lands on the girl on the other side of the room. I laugh as they awkwardly kiss and soon it's my turn.

I turn to Angelia and she throws me a thumbs up. I smile and spin the bottle. It spins and spins, and suddenly my mind gets fuzzy. It all happens so fast, it lands on the girl next to Angelia and the girl smiles at me. Angelia sucks in a deep breath as we kiss softly.

The pit of disappointment in my stomach widens when Angelia spins the bottle and it spins to the person across from her. They kiss and soon she is back next to me. I try to grasp her hand with mine but she clears her throat and instead wraps herself around my arm.

We play two more rounds and on the second round, it was my turn to spin the bottle first. I lean forward and it spins. It slows down and my breath hitches. I look over at Angelia and smile.

It landed on her.

But then it spins a little too much to the left and I'm kissing the girl sitting next to the girl I kissed before. I sigh and give her a quick peck before retreating to my seat.

Angelia laughs at my sad expression and pinches my cheeks. "Let's go eat. My mom just texted me." I nod and all the other kids follow us as we exit the basement, scattering around the living room to the kitchen.

I grab Angelia's hand and we sit next to each other, our mothers smiling at each other knowingly. I laugh as my mother throws me a wink and Angelia seems oblivious to the hints thrown our way.

After grace we serve ourselves, eat, talk animatedly, and then eat some dessert. Angelia laughs loudly at my joke and I smile at her happiness.

Everyone goes to the kitchen and I see the karaoke machine come out. I inwardly groan and Angelia's eyes widen. "They're gonna make me sing. We need to leave."

I laugh at Angelia and nod, "Let's go." We go up to her room and lock the door, heading to our regular areas. I lay down on the bean bag she had and she sits on the roomy chair she had in the corner.

I laugh as she takes off her heels and throws on some shorts under her dress. I take off my jacket and get comfy. Silence falls over us and soon I'm gazing at her and she's gazing at me.
