Leadership Material ≫Chapter 5≪

"Is anyone out here?!" Bellamy shouts running out of the cave.

"Diggs? Jones?" He starts yelling the names of the hunting group.

"We're here!" One of them shouts. Bellamy and I run over to where the sound was coming from.

"Where's A..." Bellamy starts but is cut off by a scream . Charlottes scream.
I take off running to where the scream came from, to find Charlotte hovered over Atoms blistered body. Soon Bellamy arrives at my side and his face falls.

"K..k..kill m..me p..p..please." Atom begs

Bellamy kneels down.

"I.. I can't do it." He says, as Charlotte hands him her make shift knife.

Finn and Clarke run over to where we are. Clarke bends down and takes the knife out of Bellamy's hands

"I'm going to help you" she says to Atom

I bend down and set my hand on Bellamy's back.

"May we meet again" I whisper to Atom as Clarke starts humming a tune and takes him out of his misery.

When we arrive back at camp Octavia comes running up to us. I look at Bellamy and give him a look, letting him know I'm not breaking the news.

"About time! Murphy was gonna kill Jasper!" She says as if nothing's wrong.

"Are you serious?" I say in shock. She nods cautiously, scared of what I might do. I see Murphy talking to Bellamy and make my way over there.

"Let me make one thing clear to you dickwad. The only person who will be coming anywhere near Jasper with any sort of weapon is Clarke. If I ever find out you were in there again I'm gonna end you."  I say anger building up with every word. Bellamy puts his hand on my waist

"Slaydher back off" he whispers in my ear. I angrily turn around when I hear Murphy start up.

"Let me make one thing clear princess..." I cringe as the name comes out of his mouth.

"You do not tell me what to do. Hate to rain on your parade but you don't scare me. So if you ever threaten me again I will end you." He finishes. I look up at Octavia and the biggest smile comes to my face. I turn around and March over to Murphy bringing my fist up as he flinches.

"Don't scare you huh?" I scoff and walk past him making sure my shoulder collides with his.

I walk into the drop ship and sit down next to Octavia, Monty, and Finn. Finn pulls out a bottle of whiskey he found while hiding from the fog.

"Disgusting" Octavia frowns as she takes a sip

"I love it!" She states passing it to me. I take a swig and feel the burning sensation as it makes its way down my throat

"It's actually not to bad" I state with a chuckle. I start to hand the bottle off to Monty when I hear something move.

"C..can I g..get a h..hit of that." A weak voice says from behind us. We all bounce up and run towards him. We give him a group hug.

"Welcome back buddy" Monty says giving Jasper a high five.

"Was that a dream or did I get speared?" Jasper asks confused

"Well you have a very impressive scar to prove it" Clarke tells him as she walks into the drop ship.

"My savior!" He says in a cheery voice

"Oh hello!" Jasper says as he realizes Octavia's in the room, causing us all to laugh. We all decide to give Jasper and Monty there time to catch up and all leave the drop ship. I look at Octavia and smile at her as we split ways.

"B, Come sit" I look around to see Bellamy patting the floor next to him.
I smile at the old nickname that Finn and Sowyer managed to come up with.

"I told you.. Well actually Clarke told you. " I say as I settle in next to him.
He looks at me for a minute before realizing Jaspers awake. He lets out a light chuckle .

"Your allowed to be upset you know?" I say while closing my eyes.

"They look up to me. If I let them see any sign of weakness, they'll loose respect for me." He says

"Being upset that your friend died isn't being weak. It's being human. And who cares if they respect you. There going to listen to you either way." I state

"I'm their leader. I have to be strong for them." He replies

"Hmm I would say at the moment I have just as much respect as you. And I've let a few tears out once or twice" I say joking. He turns his head and raises his eye brows at me with a small smile.
I can't help but smile.

"Okay okay, but I'm definitely as strong as you." I say getting up and grabbing his hands to help him up.

We make are way back into camp as Finn comes up to me.

"Hey b" he says smiling

"Hey babes, what have you been up to? Besides trying to get in Clarke's pants." I say smiling

"I hate you. And if you must know I've been with Jasper. " he states. His eyes shifting down. I can tell something is bugging him. 

"Finn, what's wrong?" I say in a caring voice.

"I have been thinking about Raven a lot lately.. What if she moves on? What if she forgets me?" He says barely above a whisper .

"Finn. Raven will never forget about you. If she moves on, that's her loss. You guys are inseparable. She's not going anywhere." I watch as a smile makes its way onto his face.

"I'm going to bed b, I love you." He replies as he walks away.

"I love you too." I reply while going into the drop ship to do the same.
