Battle Begins ≫Chapter 17≪

I run out and immediately meet some grounders. I smile and then pull out both knifes. We circle each other before one of them charges. He swings his arm when I grab it and swing my leg up to his neck. Snapping his arm and causing him to stab himself in the neck. He hits the floor as others charge. I throw one knife and hit one directly in the chest, then as the second one collides with my body I take a knife a press it into the main vein in his neck. I look over and see Bellamy struggling with a grounder when Octavia raises her sword and lunges it into the grounders skull. She looks at me as she pulls it out and I give her a smirk

"Admit it you want one" as the words left her mouth an arrow was shot straight into her leg.

"Hold onto me." Bellamy says, pulling her arm over his shoulders. We try to walk back to camp but more arrows come toward us.

"Shit" I cursed. Some hoots and hollers catch my attention. Finn and Lincoln run over to us as reapers run toward the grounders.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend?" I ask with a smile

"I kicked the hornets nest." Finn grins

"You bought us some time." I sigh

"How's Raven?" Bellamy asks causing me to roll my eyes

"She's not good. And the rockets aren't ready yet. Jasper's working on them now." He replies

"Jasper?" Bellamy asks "what's plan B?"

"Jasper's plan B" I say lowly.

"Let's move." Bellamy says.

"We'll never make it. Leave me. I'll find another way." Octavia speaks up making Bellamy and I look at her in disbelief.

"We're not going anywhere without you." Bellamy tells her.

"Octavia" Lincoln speaks for the first time. Bellamy tenses up and I put my hand on his lower back.

"Lincoln, you did this?" Octavia asks him

"With Finn." He examines the wound "its deep. I can help you, but you need to come with me.. now."

"Go" Bellamy says "let him help you."

"No way. I have to see this through." She protests.

"You can't walk, and I can't get you back into the drop ship." He tells her

"O, he's right." I speak up

"Slaydher, you too." He adds

"And he's on fucking crack" I add while still looking at Octavia.

"Look, O, I told you, my life ended the day you were born, the truth is, it didn't start until then. Go with him. I need you to live. Besides, I got this" he struggles

"I love you big brother." Octavia says, through her tears.

"May we meet again." He tells her.

"May we meet again." She replies

"Slaydher you need to go." Bellamy states turning his attention back to me. I laughed as I replied.

"I'm not going anywhere Bellamy. We started this. We'll finish it."

"You have too... princess please don't make this harder then it has to be. I need to know you're safe. I need to know that you're alive. Please just listen to me this once." He strains

"Just because you use a nickname doesn't change anything Bellamy. You're not changing my mind." I state

"Slaydher I love you! Okay I need you to stay alive and stay safe. I need something to get me through this." He cries.

"Guess what Bellamy, I love you too. That's why I'm staying and you can get through this with me by your side." I turn kiss Octavia on the forehead and look at Lincoln.

"May we meet again." I give him a short smile before walking on. I walk into camp and see everyone either dead or fighting. Bellamy bumps into my back and I push myself to proceed.

"Everyone in the drop ship." I scream as I fight my way to the doorway. I turn around and see that Bellamy is no longer behind me. I turn my head and see him be tackled by Tristan. No. I watch as Finn makes his way over towards them. I start to move my feet when an arm wraps around me and pulls me back.

"Let me go god damn it!" I look up and see something coming from the sky. The Arc. With that the door is closed and the last thing I get to see it Bellamy and Finn's faces. Suddenly a body is thrown on top of me and I get myself away to see that's it's Anya.

"Do it now" Clarke yells and the whole ship shakes. With that I feel any desire to move or fight leave my body. Finn. Octavia. And Bellamy are all dead.

"You bitch" I winced before pulling out my knife and stabbing it into Anya's leg.

"STOP. We are not grounders." Clarke screams while grabbing my arm

"Don't touch me." I murmur "you did this.. this is because of you" I say pushing myself away from her. The dropship door opens and I take a step out. All that's seen is rubbish and skeletons. I fall to my knees as a orange smoke bomb is thrown into camp.

"Mountain Men" Anya yells in the distance as everything goes black.
