81 Alive »Chapter 15«

I walk over to the side of the gate to see a flower set perfectly in one of the trees. I let out a light chuckle and run into the drop ship to get O. Everyone who's surrounding raven glances over at me, and I make sure not to make eye contact with anyone. I move over to where Octavia is and grab her arm pulling her back to look at me. She gives me a look before turning her head so she can hear me. I tell her about the flower and watch as her face lights up, she gives me one last look before moving out of the drop ship. I turn my head toward the rest of the group when Clarke starts talking to me.

"Slaydher I need a favor" I stare at her waiting for her to continue

"I need you to close Ravens wounds while I go make a gurney." I roll my eyes before moving to Ravens side.

"How did Murphy get a gun?" Finn asks holding onto Ravens hand.

"Long story" Bellamy slurs before getting up and heading in Clarke's direction. I stay silent and heat up a knife

"What's wrong with you?" Finn asks

"You missed a few things babe. Hmmm let me see. Where shall I start. Raven slept with Bellamy. I got shot in the side. Had an incident and almost died. All while being scared that you may be dead." Ravens eyes fill with guilt as Finns mouth fell open.

"You slept with Bellamy?" Finns words are cut off by a scream as I place the hot knife over Ravens wounds sealing them up.

"We got lucky, if Murphy would have hit the fuel tank instead of me, we'd all be dead." Raven says completely ignoring Finns question.

"Wait, there's rocket fuel down there? Enough to build a bomb?" I asked looking up from her wound

"Enough to build a hundred bombs... If only we had gun powder left." She breathed. My thoughts jumbled as Clarke came inside

"Can she walk or not?" Finn asks. I shake my head at him as Raven gets pissed and starts to stand up. I pick my hand up and push her back down onto the bed with force

"Hey! That bullet is still inside of you. If by some miracle there is no internal bleeding, it might hold until we get somewhere save. But you are not walking there. Am I clear?" She stares at me and nods her head. Finn carries her to Clarke who now has a stretcher made for her. I follow them outside to see everyone leaving camp with Octavia leading. I look around and see bellamy lurking in the corner. I roll my eyes once again before going up to him.

"I know what your thinking. Your not staying. You will not win this fight by yourself Bellamy."

"18 dead" Is all he said

"82 alive." I say before grabbing a tin of water and tossing it on the fire. I give bellamy one last look before we make our way out of camp. We walk for a while before the group comes to a stop. I glance around

"Why'd we stop?" A kid asks before a knife comes flying out of the trees and into his face. I watch as his body hits the floor. From there on everything moves in slow motion.

"Grounders! Run!" Jasper yells as everyone rushes into the walls of camp and the gate closes.
