Octavia ≫Chapter 8≪

"Have you seen Octavia?!" Bellamy asks in a panicked tone.

"No. Have you checked with Jasper?" I ask getting to my feet. He shakes his head and goes to leave. I grab his arm.

"I'll check with Clarke, you check with Jasper." I say kissing him on the cheek and walking over to Clarke.

"It's Octavia..." Clarke starts

"She's probably chasing butterflies or"
Bellamy walks up to us cutting her off.

"I've checked all over camp. She's not here." He tells me, worried

"Okay. We will get a search group together and go find her." I say trying to calm him

"No. You stay here in case she comes back." He replies almost instantly.

"What is with people thinking that they can control me! I'm going. End of story." With that I walk away and gather a group together.

"Alright everybody grab a weapon. My sisters been out there for 12 hours, I'm not coming back till I find her." Bellamy demands coming up to the group. I look over and see Jasper nervously pick up a weapon.

"Jasper, you don't have to do this. You haven't left camp since.." I start but he cuts me off.

"Slaydher. I have to do this." He says with a new found confidence that makes me smile.

"Finn! Get out here!" Bellamy yells

"Alright, yeah I'm coming!" He climbs out of his tent with shorter hair then before causing my to laugh

"She's been here for a day and she's already changing things on you" I laugh. He lets out a slight chuckle while shaking his head.

"Hey, look at that." Someone points to the sky as hundreds of small bright lights fall to the atmosphere.

"It's beautiful" someone mutters

"It didn't work. They didn't see the flares." Raven says

"A meteor shower tells you that?" Bellamy asks looking down at Raven

"It's not a meteor shower, it's a funeral. Hundreds of bodies being returned to the Earth from the Ark. This is just what it looks like from the other side." I tell him, my eyes never leaving the sky.

"They didn't get our message. This is all because of you!" Raven yells and jumps to attack Bellamy.

"I helped you find the radio!" He defends

"Yeah, after you jacked it from my pod and thrashed it!" She yells again

"Yeah, he knows. Now he has to live with it. So let's go. We have more important things to take care of. You can play the blame game later." I say holding her back from him.

"All I know is that my sister is out there and I'm gonna find her." He states turning to lead the group out of camp.

After a while of walking we come to a hill. I flash my light to the bottom and I see a small bag. I grab Bellamy's arm and point down to where the object is.

"Rope." He orders and someone hands it to him. He sets the rope up and lowers himself down. Once he hits the bottom he informs us that it's her and I grab the rope and make my way down. Once I reach the bottom Bellamy puts his hands on my hips and helps me off the rope.

"That's hers too." I say pointing to a rock with fresh blood on it.

"This way" he states and makes his way through the dark forest.

My feet freeze when we come to an opening. Skeletons and corpses hang from sticks in the ground with torches lighting the ground.

"Grounder Territory." I mutter
