"Good health, good food, and good company, in the blessing of new friends." Dante Wallace finishes his prayer as everyone responds.

"We give thanks." Everyone then seated themselves and started to eat. I stared at everyone in the room. They all eat in peace as happy as can be. It amazes me to see everyone in peace. I won't eat. Screw that. Screw these people. My people are still out there.

I woke up to the sound of an alarm going off above my head. I hop off my bunk to see Maya, Jasper, and Clarke as Maya begins to rush towards the door. I throw my arm out stopping her. She stares at me with a threatened look.

"It means that surface patrol is back and someone is in need of medical attention. Slaydher I have to go." I raised my eyebrow before moving my arm and letting her by. Maya brushed her shoulder against mine leaving the room. I gave Clarke a glance before following in Maya's footsteps. A hand suddenly curled around my bicep as I was suddenly tugged back words out of my thoughts.

"What do you think you're doing?" Jasper's eyes were wide as he demanded an answer. My face stiffened as I searched his eyes. I shock my head before taking a step forward.

"He's dead Slaydher! Get the stupid thought out of your head. He's dead. They are both dead. Bellamy Blake is dead. Finn is dead. You are being naïve." My body froze as everyone stared at me. I laughed before turning towards him.

"Octavia isn't." I begin to make my was to the infirmary as Clarke follows, Jasper hot in our trail. Soon even our feet started to pick up the pace as we ran down the halls. We came to a halt as we rounded a corner to see various doctors climbing into light blue biohazard suits. Clarke quickly made her way in front of the doctor demanding answers.

"Who brought them here?" He muttered rolling his eyes as a look of annoyance made its way onto his face. Without thinking I looked towards one of the doctors, ripping his keycard out of his grip before storming towards the door. Clarke quickly followed grabbing Jasper's wrist as I slid the card across the pad. From behind us a doctor spoke up.

"It's not safe!"

"It is for us." Clarke snapped. Jasper glanced back at all of the doctors sheepishly, explaining

"Someone's gotta keep them out of trouble." We began sprinting, we came to a stop as the hallway forked. I exchanged a glance with Clarke. Paintings were hung on the walls, I take a shaky breath before turning to the right.

"Stop pushing so hard. They're.." Jasper insisted but was at a loss of words almost instantly. Inside the room was a body lying in a plastic bag, Clarke's hands covered it as she looked down at the person.

"Are lying to us! Thats a bullet wound. Grounders don't use guns." She cried out

"So that means whoever shot him is from the Ark? Or is one of our friends? Seems like the most truthful answer, which is why we are all getting the hell out of here." I shrugged.

"Maybe the grounders got the guns?" Jasper offered.

"Or our people are alive out there." I countered. It was then, that a woman in a radiation suit came up behind us, entering the doorway.

"Get them out of here." She instructed. I turn and watch as men come in and lead us out the room into quarantine. I froze as a man was being rushed into the quarantine unit, his entire body red and covered in burns. That was the effect radiation had on these people. Burn there flesh until there nothing.

"I definitely dont believe them, but they had their story so clear. They had the arrow and everything." Clarke states looking into my soul.

"It could have been an arrow from years ago for all we know, they could have just dipped it in blood." I reason trying to raise her hopes. Jasper hasn't been able to pull his head out of his ass yet so the only hope Clarke has left is me.  I still have hope that maybe the Ark landed and we have people safely on the ground. Either way Bellamy is dead. Finn is dead. My brother and my whatever you would call it are dead. My mind wandered to all the memories. I felt guilty for the way Bellamy and I left things, except the blame is still completely on him. If he wouldn't have slept with Raven maybe things would have been different? Maybe he would have made it to the drop ship? Maybe he would have been a few minutes earlier. I come back to reality as we start walking towards our room when my eyes locked on a familiar face. The guard with burns from quarantine was standing directly in front of us, only his burns were gone and he only had slight redness and light welts to prove it. I looked at Clarke before turning into our sleeping room.

"Did you see that? He was perfectly fine. What the hell is going on here?" Clarke starts to slightly panic as my mind went blank and thoughts started popping up in my head. Before I could think about it I brought my hand up under the bunk bed. I gritted my teeth as I dug the newly stitched skin arose the metal bar ripping them open.

"What the hell are you doing?" Clarke panicked.

"Getting into the infirmary."

I sat lying in a medical bed, my arm stretched out as the doctor from earlier continued to stitch it up.

"What did you do to get these open?" She cracked a smile almost to comfort me.

"I'm clumsy and hit the bottom of the bed." I state not showing any emotion. She shot me one last smile before getting her keycard and slipping out of the room. I turned my head to see the unconscious guard two beds down from me. Making sure no one else was in the room. I slowly peeled the blanket off of myself, swinging my legs out of the bed and allowing my bare feet to reach the cool, metal floor. Slowly approaching the guard, a tube in his chest came too my sight. A dark crimson liquid was being taken out of him with one tube and re-entering him with another. Whatever they were doing to him was working miracles because now he showed no signs of burns.
