Dinggggg!!!
The bell finally rang and it was lunch! April would actually see Tunia. For some reason, she wasn't in any of her classes. April gathered all her stuff up and headed to the gym/lunch room. It smelled of good cheesy pizza! After waiting in line for a while, (she was one of the last ones in the lunch line) she looked around at the full benches.
Her eyes were darting back and forth to each table. Finally she saw Tunia.April started heading over to the half full lunch table.
"Hey Tunia!"April exclaimed. Tunia looked as if she had just seen a ghost. There were others girls around her staring at her with what almost looked like disgust. "Remember me??? April??" April said with hope lingering on her voice. Tunia looked at the girls around then back at April.
"Huh? Who are you? I've never seen an April..."Tunia replyed.
April stood there shocked. Why doesn't she remember me? "But just yesterday we wer-"
"I don't wanna hear it April." It seemed as if she spat out the word April."Now please leave me and my friends alone." Tunia's eyes looked mad but at the same time also....hurt.
Tears were welling up in April's eyes. "I-im sorry I-i just thought that--" And with those words, she threw her lunch down and started running. She didn't know where but as long as it was far away from here.

It was the end of school in one minute. April knew because she had been staring blankly at the clock for the last three classes.Dingggg!!!
April slowly gathered all of her stuff up and stuffed it in her backpack. At least there was no homework today just disclosure documents for the first day. April trudged down the hall and out of the doors. She headed to the school bus lot and climbed aboard.
She sat down at the very back once again and rested her forehead against the window frame. This only made it worst for she saw Tunia laughing with her friends outside. April frowned and turned away. This was going to be one long drive.

The bus screeched to a stop by near April's house. She hopped off the bus and went to her front door knocking. Her mother answered quickly with a big smile on her face.
"How was your day, sweetie?" She said excitedly.
April opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. It was no use. April dashed past her mother and went straight to her room locking it behind her. Rosemary went to Aprils door knocking non stop. April buried her face in her pillows. The knocking stopped. April heard a long sad sigh.
"Well April...come out when you're ready to talk." Aprils mother had left. Once April was sure her mother had left, she stood up and went to her computer. Maybe Isabel could cheer me up..April thought.
She opened up her email and searched for any new messages. There was none. She hadnt replied in about two days!!! April back in her seat holding a whimper in. Now she had lost two of her friends!
Angry, April unlocked her door and stepped out. Checking if the coast was clear, she ran to the back door and went outside. April quickly hopped up the stairs to her giant tree. She leaned against it sobbing. Why did this have to happen to her?
April stood up and started climbing the tree. She put her hands on a low branch and her feet on the trunk. She pulled herself up with her arms and kicked at the trunk to get up. The hold for her feet broke, and April fell knocking the wind out of her.
"Ow! Is today my unlucky day or something?" she muttered angrily under her breath. April brushed her self off holding her scratched arm. She looked at the old piece of driftwood that was now broken of the tree. April kicked it aside glaring.
Suddenly she noticed a weird light shining in her eyes. She shaded them and saw a medium sized door carved into the trunk with the sun shining off of golden edges... How did this get here?
April examined the wood. This mustve been here for a very long time. She brushed the handle off and it revealed a golden knob. Wow! This was amazing but also strange. Maybe she could just take a peek? April went to the door, turned the knob and looked in. There was nothing but pitch black. Aprils mind filled with confusion.
Carefully, she put her hand in the door expecting a dark wall. Her hand went right through. Surprised by this, she tripped and fell in head first to what seemed to be complete nothingness. Everything was silent.
