Chapter 6

Searching from dress to dress I couldn’t find anything that looked good enough for Josh. Before I knew it Sofia came with her hands filled with different kinds of dresses and not just in her hands, but there was a pack of them behind her. I know I’m gonna die today. I guess I will lose another 10 Kg just trying all these dresses.

"Lisa you have to try each and every one of them." She said with an evil, yet excited, smile on her face.

"Oh man, this is going to take a lot of time." I said.

"Well then it's time to get started." She replied going through the dresses and handing me a bright yellowish dress. What the hell? Yellow? Seriously? Out of all the colors?

Anyways...

Inside the dressing room I was trying on one dress to the other, but I was not satisfied, even though there like 20 more dresses in the bunch, which Sofia gave me. I haven't found any one of them good enough.

Until I saw a beautiful black skinny shaped dress. It was… beautiful and It had matching shiny boots. As people say you can't trust cloths from the hanger until you try it on. The thing I hated about that was trying on the millions of cloths…

After getting into it I finally opened my eyes to look at my reflection, "crossing my fingers". At first I could not recognize who the girl was in front of the mirror. It's weird to see myself not a 95Kg person anymore but a 65Kg...

Sofia peeped in and her eyes went wide and her mouth dropped to the floor.

"What? Do I look that bad?" I said confused at her expression.

"No babe! You look...SOO GOOD! I still can't believe you’re the same Lisa."

“Me neither…” Is all I said. I kept looking at my reflection a smoothing my dress.

After paying for our cloths we went to eat at Subway’s. Damn I loved that place, and after being stuck into that small changing room I suddenly felt… very hungry. My stomach started making loud noises. ‘I had to eat’ I thought to myself.

Surprisingly Sofia was too and she was ready to eat anything. So we both ordered our favorites: a Chicken Bacon Ranch with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and extra ranch dressing on Italian herb and cheeses bread.

“Subway is Paradise.” Sofia said while taking a huge bite. Her mouth was all smudged with cheese after.

“I can never disagree with that!” I said while chewing and laughing at her face.

Sofia drove me home and I thanked her while skipping to the front door. YES SKIPPING! Too happy, yet so tired. I changed to my PJ’s and actually had a smile before drifting to sleep

“Lisa I got to tell you something” Josh said, sparks all over his eyes. He was playing with his thumb now and looked damn nervous.

“Okay... What’s with the nervous face?” I said. Actually where was I? The place was awesome and the light that reflected josh's face was not ordinary.

“Uhh…Lisa, I really like you. Actually I really love you and Evan is so not worth the amazing you!” He said it so fast that it sounded like: ‘lisaIreallylikeyouactuallyreallyloveyouandEvanissonotworththeamazingyou’

But I understood it. Josh talks like that every time he is nervous. But...Wow...WOOW....Woooaahh. I had a lot of different thoughts in my mind right now. The Mr. Perfect I always wanted was always here with me through all these years.

“Since when have you fallen for me?” it sounded like a whisper when I said it. By now our face were inches away.

“I guess since we were 13 and you talked and had fun with me 24/7 even though I was the guy with braces and nerdy glasses.” He said with a grin.
