Four : Rehersals & Stuck in the Rain

A/N : so in this chapter they're basically practicing and prepping for the X-factor performance. enjoy !!

Niall :

I just arrived at work and was five minutes late. Whoops. I had to drop off Callie at school so it's not like I had a choice. She looked so cute with my hoodie on today. I parked and ran out of the car and into the studio. Hopefully they just wouldn't kill me.

I got into the elevator and went on the 7th floor. The 7th floor had a room for performing like a tiny little stage with microphones and stuff. I ran into the room to see they hadn't started yet. They weren't looking towards the door, maybe I can get away with not being late. I tried to be a little slick and make my way to my mic without anyone noticing but failed terribly by tripping. Smooth Niall.

"Niall! You're here!" Liam said happily!

"Niall!!" All the boys said.

"Hey boys!" I said laughing.

"Why were you late?" Harry asked.

"I spent yesterday and the night at Callie's place." I said earning some winks and ooohs. They knew I loved her and how I was too wimp to tell her. They promised they would never tell her and I trust the boys.

"Little Nialler is getting the girl finally I see?" Louis said laughing. I wish.

"No I wish. I'm scared she'll reject me." I said sighing.

"C'mon really Niall? She obviously loves you too you're just too blind to see it! Ask her on a date! Make a move! She's probably scared of the same rejection." Liam said trying to get me to make a move.

"I agree with Liam!" Harry and Louis say high fiving each other and Liam. I don't know what to do.

"I don't know, I'll think about it. Did any of you guys get a call from management this morning or recently?" I ask hoping I wasn't the only one.

"I did." Louis said.

"I didn't." Harry and Liam said.

"What'd they want?" Louis asked me.

"They said something about meeting up with me after the holidays and didn't want to tell me now because he didn't want to fight with me over the phone. What about you?" I said pulling my hair. Callie's words of 'to not stress' ring through my head.

"Something about Danielle and I. We've been hanging out a lot lately and it got out on Twitter and stuff that we hung out. They want to meet after the holidays too, but I'm hanging out with her like the first week of our break." He said. ( A/N : if they are confirmed I honestly ship them together ! they're too cute )

"I get a bad vibe cause John called me and told me." I said earning groans from the boys.

"That arse should honestly be fired. Why haven't we talked to Simon yet about firing him?" Louis said getting angry. I honestly don't blame Louis for saying that cause I agree.

"So boys are we going to practice. We're performing in five days!" Liam said.

We all start singing the same songs over and over again, trying to perfect it.

* Later that day after rehearsal *

Niall :

"Bye lads! We did good today! See you all
tomorrow for rehearsals again!" I yell, earning byes and see ya tomorrow's from the lads.

I then went back to my place and thought of all the things John might need to tell me. I didn't need to pick up Callie from her university until 5:15 pm. It's 3:48 pm now and I'm just waiting and thinking of her. Maybe I should do what the boys told me to do and and make a move. I don't want to be rejected though. She could friendzone me! Then she'd leave me and find someone else as her best friend. I can't risk it. Maybe New Years I could tell her. We were spending Christmas in Ireland and then coming back out here for New Years to have a huge party with the boys. I still can't believe Callie was actually born in America and not Ireland. They moved in my neighborhood when she was 3 or when I was 3 too. Her dad moved for work and I met her in school. We got close and spent more time together and her parents and my parents both always loved when the other would come over. I can't believe she actually got to graduate and get into a university. I sometimes wish I could go back and be at prom or graduate. I could've asked Callie to prom. I'm happy I'm famous though because now I have four well now three best friends that'll last a lifetime. I miss Callie already. When I pick her up I'm taking her to icecream. It'll be an icecream date. I decided the best thing to do was shower cause I didn't at Callie's place. I showered and I got ready then I suddenly was tired and fell asleep.

* After Niall's nap *

I woke up and checked the time 5:01. OH CRAP. Callie is going to kill me. It's going to take me at least 30-40 minutes to get there. I ran out the door and into the car and speeded to the university as fast as I could. I was almost 10 minutes away but there was traffic! Of course then it started to rain! She's probably standing in the rain wishing for me to be there. Oh no she's probably freezing. I started honking. Please let me get there faster.

Finally I park at the university and run in the rain to get to Callie. I felt so bad and she hasn't even tried to call me yet. She's probably disappointed in me, I'd be too. I ran to her last class of today and saw her standing the rain on her phone. Why didn't she call me? I ran up to her and hugged her. She was freezing and soaking wet. Callie was for sure shaking from the cold.

"I'm so so so sorry Callie! I remembered I did! I took a shower then fell asleep after rehearsals. I'm so so so so sorry! Please don't be mad! I was even planning on taking us out for icecream after, maybe not cause you're freezing. I'm sorry please forgive me Callie." I said shaking from the freezing cold.

"Niall it's okay, I understand. Please get me out of this rain though. I've been here for at least 40 minutes." She said shaking. I nod and take her hand in mine.

We get in car and turn the heater on full blast. When we get home I'm holding her so close and treating her like the princess she is. I look over at her and see she's slowly falling asleep.

A/N : so more a filler chapter ! I'm trying to make sure this book isn't rushed cause I want this to be a long book not like 30 chapters ! thanks for reading !!
