Tanya looked different. She was smiling to herself. The ride felt odd without of her blabbering and mainly no radio. Normally, I would have ignored her behaviour. Although, the fact that she was with Rishi on their non-date, I had to have some answers.

After scrutinizing her form for several moments, I cleared my throat. "Tanya, sweetheart," I softly called her. She continued to be in her wonderland. "Are you feeling alright?" I repeated in a louder voice.

"Hmm?" she asked bewildered, glancing at my smirking profile.

"I said, what's with you today?" I queried narrowing my eyes.

"Nothing," she mumbled, averting her gaze back to the road, thus saving herself from looking into my probing eyes.

"Interesting," I smirked, studying her with a satisfaction. This was indeed the effect or the afterglow of the non-date with a handsome guy.

"What?" She looked like a deer caught in the headlights?

"Don't you underestimate me, Miss. I know you through and through. You like him, don't you?" I teased with a self-contended smile. She opened her mouth to retort, but I stopped her, raising my hand. "The truth?"

Then her lips turned upwards in a mysterious and not-so-Tanya smile. "I might!" she mouthed hiding her guilty face.

"Might? Tanya, I know you are romantic kinda girl. But don't you think you are way ahead." I countered, remembering my own experience with a guy.

"You don't understand, Sara. Something just clicked when we were together last night. He is a true gentleman," she desperately explained, naturally considering my thought process. "And I am not planning to get involved in him right away. But on the other hand, I don't want to look disinterested."

I sighed, knowing fully that I didn't have the right to come in her way of happiness. We both stayed silent for the rest of the journey. I was personally glad that she didn't probe on my night out. When I told her about last night, she just laughed it out, without taking a much interest in it. Well, I omitted certain things of last night, because I, myself was not clear why did that happen in first place. I hated to admit it to myself that I enjoyed the unexplainable kiss.

The car entered the parking space of the Seven Empire. "Will Kush be joining us for lunch?" I asked as she was driving forward and backward, struggling to park the car.

"He is spending his whole day at the shoot," she informed, pushing the buckle of the seat belt. The atmosphere was chillier than usual with sparse clouds hovering over the sun.

"So how did you find him yesterday? Was he okay?" I inquired as we were stepping into the lobby.

"No, he didn't talk about Disha. In fact, he went straight to bed," she said anxiously.

As my mind pondered over Kush's state, I saw a familiar face disappearing through the corridor leading to the second section of the tower. Did I imagine the face? Or was it him? Without any further delay, I paced forward to have a glimpse. He was not there.

"What are you looking at?" Tanya asked perplexed, glancing in the direction.

"I think I saw Viraj!" I exclaimed still confused.

"Viraj?" she questioned and went few steps further to confirm. Then turned and said, "He is nowhere! Are you sure that you saw him?" she continued.

I nodded grimly. He was him for sure. How could I forget him?

"Why a gynaecologist will be here in Seven Empire?" she mocked, probably thought I was crazy.

"I don't know, there are consulting clinics in the shopping complex near to that Barista," I added hurriedly. Then thinking why he would come to India in the first place. The last time I heard from him, was a year ago, he was practicing in Dublin.
