And suddenly, everything seemed alright, as if this is how things were meant to be.
                              And Hoseok kissed him back.
Jimin found himself to be correct. After that kiss, and after he walked out of the store, leaving a tearful Hoseok behind, things did go back to square one.
Hoseok hated Jimin, and Jimin pretended to hate Hoseok.
Maybe this is how things were meant to be. Maybe fate couldn't have the two of them loving each other.
And Jimin found himself slowly accepting the fact that he and Hoseok were never meant to be.
Soon, they both parted and went their separate ways. Victoria's Flower Shop moved locations, Jimin went back to L.A., and the two lovesick boys were forgotten.
Isn't it funny, though? How forgetfulness works out for us in the end?
Hoseok and Jimin would never learn to forget each other, and maybe that's what made the ending a little bit more bearable.

                              December 23rd, 2015
Christmas music was playing softly throughout the otherwise quiet apartment, and Hoseok was curled up on the couch, with Namjoon sitting next to him.
"Ew, whose idea was it to make these boots? Totally not cute." Namjoon huffed, flipping through a clothing magazine.
"Aren't you just the fashion critic." Hoseok mumbled, smiling softly.
Namjoon chuckled, continuing on flipping through the magazine and flipping Hoseok off.
Hoseok and Namjoon had strung up Christmas lights up earlier that day, and it was now giving off the right amount of light, and Hoseok found himself dozing off.
Then, the doorbell rang, interrupting their comforting silence, and disrupting Hoseok from his little nap.
"Now, who the hell..." Hoseok grumbled, getting to his feet, and walking towards the door.
He rubbed his eyes, and reached for the door handle, slowly swinging the door open.
                              But no one was there.
Hoseok glanced down the hall, trying to see if anyone had run down that way, but when he looked the other way, he saw a flash of familiar red hair, but it was gone the moment Hoseok had seen it.
                              Jimin.
Then, Hoseok looked down at his little welcome mat by the front door, and in front of his feet, lay a single lotus flower.
Hoseok picked up the lotus flower, and found that there was a note attached to it. Hoseok slowly unfolded it, reading the messy scrawl on the white paper.
"Hoseok! Who is it?" Namjoon called out from further inside of the apartment.
"It's no one!" Hoseok called back, still looking down at the paper. He threw it down to the floor, walking back inside of the apartment, leaving all memories of Jimin along with it.
                              I never hated you.
