"You're so cute," he says, licking the ice cream from his spoon.

"Oh, shut up," I laugh, sticking my spoon back into the huge sundae that he bought for the both of us.

"What?" He chucked, looking down at his lap with a grin on his face. "It's true. I mean, you're beautiful, cute, athletic, sassy, and many more descriptive words."

"Cute," I dead pan, rolling my eyes at him.

"Why is it that you can't take a compliment from me?" He chuckles lightly. "I've been calling you cute names since I texted you."

"It's just how I am," I shrug.

"Hold up, you have something right here, Eileen," he says pointing to the corner of his mouth.

"I do?" I retort, wiping violently at my lower face. "Did, I get it?"

"Here, let me." He leans over, napkin in hand but that soon disappears and his lips end up pressing a quick kiss to the corner of my mouth.

I'm frozen in my seat, eyes widen and I can feel the heat in my cheeks. I kinda have to blink a bit to really understand that he was grinning at me.

"You okay there, princessa?" He snickers, rubbing his hand over his chin.

"You just-what? Yeah, I'm fine."

Come on Eileen, get your shit together. It wasn't even a kiss.

He laughs at me, standing up and putting his spoon in now melted sundae. He holds his hand out for me to grab, and I take it.

"Let's go walk around the Boardwalk," he says.

"You startled me is all," I respond late. "I wasn't expecting a kiss so soon."

"I'm full of surprises, princessa," he says, throwing away the bowl. "Plus we've been talking for almost two months, and I'm very outrageous."

"I can tell," I say softly. "The text messages about the vagina cupcakes."

"I feel like you were purposely trying to be a tease," he grins, winking at me. "It worked well. Thought about you as I ate every one of them."

My muscles tense up, just thinking about his words. I need to stop, I'm not this type of person.

Oh who am I fucking kidding, Grayson is a god from gift.

You mean Grayson is a gift from God? You can't even fucking say the phrase right, get your shit together, Eileen.

"I didn't think I'd get such a reaction out of you, princessa. You have a very hard shell to crack."

"I'm not used to someone talking so—"

"Dirty?"

"Vulgar," I correct. "To me. I mean, I'm no prude, I've made plenty of "that's what she said jokes" and have talked about and seen gay porn with Lenny, but it's different when a boy who likes me is attracted to me like that."

"Well, Eileen. I hope you start getting used to it," he chuckles, grabbing my hand. "Let's start heading over to the beach."

"Gray, you sure do know how to make a girl feel special."

"Gotta treat the princess well," he smirks.

We stayed silent, and the closer we got to the beach, the windier it got. I wrapped my free hand around his arm and laid my head on his shoulder trying to keep warm. I had to separate from him sadly when we took our shoes off to walk on the sand, but my head ended up going back to his shoulder.

Walking towards the shore, he falls onto the sand pulling me down with him. I let out a scream as I fall onto him which quickly turned into a small laugh.

"This was a nice first date," I tell him. "Honestly. It wasn't the cliche movie date either."

"I like doing out of the box things. Had a feeling you'd enjoy ice cream and the boardwalk."

"This kiss was a bit early, but I'll let it slide."

"Who are you?" He laughs. "A critic of a Fanfiction? 'Oh they kissed to early.' PLEASE, Eileen."

"What is fanfiction?" I ask. "How do you even know about it?"

"It's basically where fans write stories about whatever fandom they are in. As you yelled at me before, I'm Vine Famous, and well some of my fans made fanfics."

"I'm not going to look in on it," I giggle, sitting up. "But I was being serious. Lay off, boy."

"Never, princessa," he murmurs, pressing a kiss to my forehead.
