Me: i look like shit man

Me: Lenny, I'm freaking out

Lenny: wtf you've already met my parents why are you freaking out?

Me: IDK BUT SHIT IM NERVOUS

Lenny: Eileen shut your hoe ass up, I should be the one nervous over here.

Lenny: I mean, I am the one coming out to my parents

Me: I'm nervous cause this can only go down in two ways.

Me: I just don't want this to end badly.

Lenny: I honestly have a 90/10 chance of this going bad.

Me: Lenny!

I smothered out my dress, fixing my hair. My palms were sweaty, and I was pacing back and forth, occasionally stopping in the mirror to look over how I looked. I felt like all this pacing was ruining my look. I was afraid for Lenny, of his parents who could kick him out of the house. I would take him in of course, my mom wouldn't mind at all, but the fact that he could be disowned by his parents would just crush me

My phone goes off, and I snatch it quickly, going for my messages. It wasn't even Lenny who was texting me, but it was Grayson.

Grayson: hey princessa you free tonight?

Me: no, I'm going to be with Lenny. Remember he asked me for that favor?

Grayson: Oh yeah! Tell him I wish him luck, and that I'm sorry if it doesn't go well.

Me: I'm praying it does go well

Me: Grayson my best friend is about to come out to his semi religious parents, and i'm just so scared for him. I don't want him to be tossed aside by his own parents.  I know he's all calm about this right now, but he's going crazy on the inside.

Grayson: eileen, I'm sure every thing is going to go well, okay? I could already tell you're freaking out

Grayson: I wish I could just hold you, and kiss your head telling you it's going to be okay.

Grayson: but I'm stuck with ethan and Cameron lol

Grayson: Cameron says hi and that she can't wait to meet you. She wants to go shopping one day.

Me: your sister? She wants to meet me? What?

Me: Also I wish you were here too

Me: Damn we're turning into those sick couples that everyone gags over.

Me: yikes

Grayson: but we're s'cute so it's alright :)

I look at the top corner of my phone, seeing that I have two messages. Oh wait, make that three.

Lenny: OH MY GOD

Lenny: EILEEN YOU DON'T NEED TO COME OVER ANYMORE.

Lenny: I TOLD MY PARENTS

Lenny: I COULDN'T WAIT

Lenny: EILEEN I AM SO RELIEVED RIGHT NOW. MY PARENTS ACCEPT ME. I DIDN'T THINK THEY WOULD BUT THEY DO.

Me: LENNY WHAT

Me: LENNY ARE YOU

Me: I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU OH MY GOD

Me: WHAT WAS THERE REACTION

Lenny: ILL TELL YOU ON MONDAY. MY PARENTS AREN'T GOING TO MAKE DINNER ANYMORE THEY ARE GOING TO TAKE ME OUT. YOU STILL WANNA COME?

Me: actually, I  think I'm going to pass. This is a private time that you should spend with your parents. I'm proud of you Lenard.

Lenny: thank you eileen :)

Me: no problem lenny. have fun.

I go back to Grayson's messages seeing that he sent me 4 messages.

Grayson: princessa whats wrong

Grayson: you like disappeared.

Grayson: Ethan is a little shit I stg

Grayson: He keeps trying to stick his finger up my nose.

Me: aw brother bonding.

Me: also I'm free now :)

Me: Lenny told his parents, it actually went well. He's going to give me details on monday.

Me: come pick me up :))))

Grayson: nah im gonna go sleep. bye princessa ;)
