***NIGHTSHROUD'S POV***

It is a dark time for the people of the Overworld. Each day the Wither Worshipers grow stronger, and each day I fear for the safety of my newfound friends. When I am informed that Deadlox has disappeared, supposedly taken by the Wither Worshipers, I become distraught. Deadlox was the closest thing I had to a friend, and even he did not like me so much at the beginning. He was my apprentice, my prodigy. It was my goal to make him the great warrior he was meant to be. When he was taken, I feel as though I had let myself down, and let down his group as well.

Sky spoke again, but I manage to tune him out as I think about how much of a failure I am. I have let myself down, I have failed. What can stop the Wither Worshipers now? Certainly not us alone. That is not what the prophecy entails. I remember the prophecy at that moment, as I had made myself memorize it word for word.

One will be taken, one will be changed,

One will be taught to leave love estranged.

One will succeed, but will also fail,

Six souls are taken, their death's an avail.

The return of the change as a new demon joins,

The fight won or lost at the flip of a coin.

Disappear, reappear in the blink of an eye,

One comes with assistance, his death made nigh.

With the help of the Great One and the Prince of the Flame,

Two sides will clash as one side stakes their claim.

In the end, three will fall, their sacrifice great,

The good create wishes, to evil negate.

Their safety ensured, the group returns home,

With evil now gone, they are free to roam.

The ones from below remain with their friend,

As conflicts between them come to an End.

The first four lines represent the clash between Enderlox and Skybrine. The next two represent the story of Ashley, Deadlox's newfound love. The next ten lines represent things that were yet to happen.

His death made nigh, I think.

Then I understand. I finally understand what has taken me so long to decipher. At first, I had thought the "death made nigh" line was about the return of Seto, but it's not. It all makes sense to me now. At that moment, I am no longer afraid. Deadlox's death is nigh. He is still out there.

Almost as if to clarify my words, a sudden flash of black and white darts across my field of vision and Sky falls over. I look down to see Deadlox, who has tackled Sky in what I hoped was a hug. Sky, however, doesn't take it that way. He draws his sword almost automatically and holds it defensively in Deadlox's direction. I am about to intervene when a human I have never seen steps in for me. He has shaggy brown hair and is wearing an orange shirt with ash-gray jeans.

"Stop!" He calls. "This boy is your friend, is he not?"

They speak a few words that I tune out, and I then continue analyzing the prophecy for a while. I assume these new people Deadlox brought with him, who are apparently from the Nether, are the assistance the prophecy called for. From what I hear, the boy, who's name is Preston, is also the prince of Fire, which lets me decode yet another line. In addition to this, the Great One refers to me. The part about two sides clashing is most likely referring to the team and the Wither Worshipers. The line about three people dying is relatively self-explanatory. The good creating wishes to negate evil is relatively simple as well. The good side -- our side -- wants to destroy the Wither Worshipers -- the evil. The rest of the prophecy is pretty self-explanatory, talking about what happens after our side wins the fight. While I think, the humans have a typical Overworld dinner, and then they all settle down in the cave to sleep.

I can't help but wonder who will die when all of this is over. I certainly hope Deadlox will not perish. I too fall asleep, wondering and wondering some more, hoping this will all be over soon.

***SKY'S POV***

I wake up to find that most of the others are already awake. We all eat some breakfast and then we set out to finish the job. We have Elizabeth and Preston now, so that gives us an advantage. Plus, an entire army is now at our command. Now is the time to strike, before the Wither Worshipers can rebuild the Nether Portal. If we don't strike now, we will have to wait until the Wither Worshipers have created a new Portal, which will put us back in the previous situation. Rather than walking again, we have Nightshroud teleport us to the woods outside Green Fire Point. The Wither Worshiper's camp is still there, and busier than ever.

"Preston," I say. "We're going to need you to pretty much burn the whole thing."

"Yeah, sure." Preston replies. "When?"

"Well, Jason, Sierra, Solace, and Quentin are going to go directly into the camp and try to steal the information on the Portal from the camp. If we get that information, we can make sure that no other cult groups can make portals to try and invade the Nether. You're our allies now, so we want to keep your world safe. Once they get what they need, you'll torch the place. The army will be fighting, too, so how about we split them into ranks? Each of us will lead one, it'll make communicating easier."

"Alright," Preston says. "No problem." He quickly gathers us all together and partitions his army into units, each of us commanding one.

"What about Nightshroud?" Elizabeth asks. "He said he would fight for our side."

"He will" Ty. adds. "He's going to show up when I give him the signal and then he'll start wrecking the place with Preston."

"Very well," Elizabeth adds. "I will be with Nooch and Woofless if you need me."

"Okay, I'll let you know when we're ready to go."

With that, we all prepare for the final battle. As long as our strategy doesn't fall apart, we should be fine. I give a few final commands, and then we get ready for the last stand. I send the four people going on the recon part of the mission on their way, and then we wait for the signal. When it comes, the army will strike and we will be faced with the most heated battle any of us will ever see.
