I woke up to the sound of barking, a loud and deep bark. I looked over at the clock on the wall, the time read 3:07, I needed to rest and the sound of barking was interrupting my sleep. I uncovered myself from my bed and trotted over to the door, they are just dogs, nothing could go wrong.

I stopped my motion at the door handle, wait I need to think, should I really do this? Harry did say he'd help me or he implied it, besides he's ruler here, they obey him. I clicked the knob and looked outside my door, Harry's door stood ten feet away from mine.

I should just sprint over there. I took a step out and quickly regretted my decision,
a giant dog with three heads approached me, slobber dripping from all three heads. It's eyes were red and dark, it snarled at my motionless figure. He was at least 30 feet tall compared to my 5'5 body. I froze upon seeing this ginormous creature bark at me, I wanted to scream but nothing came out, Im gonna die.

"Erebus, down!" The creature bowed and closed it eyes. I turned to the familiar voice, Harry stood naked from the waist up. His hair was tossed everywhere and he seemed pissed.

"Vacut!" Once the word was spoken from the Death Gods lips, Stone soldiers approached the dog beast, large saw-like blades in each hand. They leveled it over the beasts head and began to cut him into pieces, the dog stayed without hesitation or movement. Blood and flesh fell from the beast, flooding the floor, the odor polluted the air around me. I flinched at the brutal sight of the still dog, he remained motionless. As if it didn't hurt him, I on the other hand, felt nauseous and sick. I turned and faced an angry Hades, he eyed me up and down before grabbing my hand and taking into him chamber.

"What the hell were you thinking? A hell hound won't hesitate to hurt Athena or Apollo or any of my brothers, nether less a human- angel whatever you are!" he yelled pacing back and forth, I felt little and ashamed.

"I couldn't sleep with all of its barking- why did they cut him? Why didn't he move?"
I asked concerned for the hound.

"He was barking because he felt your presence, he knew something was out of place."

I looked up at him, his pacing stopped and he stood leaned against the wall watching me.

"And the cutting?" I cringed remembering the blood and pieces of flesh that were removed from the live body.

"He doesn't feel a thing, he's fine."
I frowned, "but why?"

Harry rubbed the back of his head.
"He needed to be- He would've killed you if he was to be in one piece, I took him apart because he will stop at nothing to do the same to you." I gasped. A hell hound is after me?

"Does he do that to everyone?"

"Yes." Harry smiled wickedly.

"Why?"

"For strength and food and hunger. And entertainment."
His smirk grew.

"Walk me back to my room please."
It was more of a command than a question. He needed to know that I was scared and I didn't want to find myself in a pile of pieces.

"No."

"Why."

"Because it'll be safer if you slept with me."

"What if I don't want to sleep with you?"

"What if I don't want to care for you."

I looked down and climbed into bed, his eyes followed my every move. I didn't hesitate to follow his rules, I don't know why. I did feel safer, which masked the fact I was about to sleep with the Devil himself. I sighed deeply and faced him, "Goodnight Hades."

He sighed and ran his hand through his hair, "Why are you so awkward, call me Harry." He insisted, but I didn't oblige. I simply went to sleep in the chamber of darkness.
