Chapter four: Will they still love me

I lay in the bed next to Arthur.

 It was morning.

The night before had been amazing.

We had only made out for a while before we slept in the same bed. We didn’t do anything else. If only though.

I climbed out the bed and went over to the curtains and pulled them open, ‘Rise and shine Arthur’ I said loudly.

Arthur grabbed one of his pillows and chucked it at me but I caught it with my left hand.

‘Thank you Arthur’ I said to him.

Arthur sat up probably and looked around the room, ‘I forgot to mess the room up’ laughed Arthur.

I stared at him before I thought about leaving to go get his breakfast but Arthur was looking at me.

‘Merlin’ said Arthur.

‘I know you don’t want to do what we did last night again’ I said to him quickly.

‘Are you crazy last night was brilliant. I don’t know what it is about you Merlin? You are an idiot and can be so annoying but when I am with you’ he said and went to continue you but I cut across him,’ When we are together it feels right. It feels like we are meant to be together’.

‘Yeah’ said Arthur.

‘Arthur we shouldn’t. I’ve liked you for so long but I hid my feelings because people will not understand’ I said to him.

‘Merlin we can still be together we can try this and see how it goes’ said Arthur.

 I nodded at him with a smile, ‘Ok we will give it a go’ I said to him.

I know I should be chucked in a cell right now but I couldn’t help it I liked Arthur too much to say no to this offer Arthur was giving me.

It felt awkward watching Arthur and Gwaine now in a way I was dating both of them. In other words I was cheating.

I didn’t like doing it but it was like I was stuck between them and I couldn’t decide. They made me feel differently around each of them.

When I was with Gwaine it was clear he loved me and we could make out passionately and care dearly about each other.

On the other hand Arthur and I argued a lot of the time but I found that sexy and I liked Arthur’s rougher approach to our relationship and how we make out.  

I liked both of them for different reasons. I loved them both. That was how it felt and I had no idea what I was going to do.

When Arthur finished his fight I didn’t go and assist him instead I stayed to watch Gwaine. I saw him take down his opponent before he looked over at me and smiled.

Gwaine’s smile made me feel hot all over and I nearly kissed him as I went to congratulate him but I turned it into one of those man hugs men normally do. So basically not even a hug.

We both went into Arthur’s tent to find him looking quite annoyed. ‘Happy now that I allowed Merlin to watch you’.

‘In fact yes I am but I warn you Arthur if you ever do anything to hurt Merlin’ began Gwaine.

‘Come on Gwaine don’t you have somewhere to be’ I said quickly.

‘Yeah I see you around’ said Gwaine as he left but he winked at me. That meant he wanted me to visit his bedroom later.

‘Something is wrong with Gwaine these days’ said Arthur as he pulled the tent sheet over and turned back around looking at me with this smirk that I found so sexy.

Arthur approached me clearly trying to get my hormones going, ‘Arthur what if someone comes in’ I began.

‘Oh Merlin that is why I shut the tent, everyone knows not to intrude when it is shut like that’ laughed Arthur as his lips were inches from mine.

‘Arthur’ was all I managed to say.

‘You are mine now Merlin and I am going to make you want me. I want you so badly’ whispered Arthur.

Arthur started to undo my buttons but in the process we managed to somehow tumble to the floor and now Arthur was on top of me.

I felt him right up against me making my hormones go like the clappers. Arthur ripped my t-shirt away as well as his own.

Our bare chests touched each other as we began to make out but in a different way to Gwaine we were making out roughly so we began to kiss and roll on the floor.

Arthur was pulling me all over the place, ‘Kiss me Merlin’ said Arthur loudly.

It lasted for about ten minutes before we both found ourselves sitting on the ground next to each other just in our trousers and boots. Arthur was holding on to my hand and it made me feel like he really cared.

‘I love you Merlin’ said Arthur which made my mouth drop open, ‘Arthur what about Gwen’ I said before I could help myself.

‘I don’t know Merlin she does not make me feel the same way as you do’ he whispered into my ear as he began to kiss my chick.

‘I love you too Arthur’ I smiled as we began to kiss once again.

I arrived at Gwaine’s room late that night as I had to do a couple of late rounds for Gaius. I found Gwaine in his bed already.

‘Gwaine’ I said to him.

‘Merlin can you sleep here with me tonight’ he asked me. Oh crap I had already made plans to sleep with Arthur again.

‘Sure Gwaine’ I said to him. Arthur will hopefully understand.

I took of my jacket off and put it on the chair along with my boots before I climbed into the bed next to Gwaine.

‘Merlin I wish we could leave just the two of us’ said Gwaine as he put his hand on my leg.

‘Gwaine I wish I could but’ I began.

‘I’m a knight I know’ said Gwaine. I was going to tell him that it was important for me to stay here but that excuse worked a lot better.

‘I just wished we could spend more time together’ said Gwaine as he got closer to me in bed.

‘So do I Gwaine’ I said to him. It was true I did want to spend more time with Gwaine but I also wanted to spend time with Arthur.

This was just too complicated.

Darn my stupid heart.

I had no one to talk to about it either. Arthur or Gwaine would be the people I would talk to about it but I wouldn’t be able to do that without one of them finding out about the other making out with me.

I never thought I see the day to find Gwaine and Arthur both liking me. Both loving me and I loved them back.

Gwen was out of the question as if I told her she would hate me for taking Arthur away. If I told Gaius he would have a go at me and make me break it off with both. I just couldn’t do that.

I knew one thing I was not going to break it off with either of them not until I know how I truly feel. Not until I know which one I love more and then I would be with him if Gaius or anyone liked it or not.

I had decided I was not going to keep my feelings hidden any longer. All I had to try and do was make sure Uther never found out.

I was also concerned about one more important thing. Arthur and Gwaine love me and I love them.

However will they still love me when I told them my secret?

Would they still love me when they find out I have magic?
