Chapter two: Talking with Gwaine

I don't like Sir Passion one little bit he took down the first knight with one hit with his hilt of his sword.

He was a strong man and a horrible one at that Arthur was right. I was pleased to see that Gwaine or Arthur hadn't had to fight him yet.

I kept my eyes on Gwaine or Arthur when they took down there opponent. They were both so strong, so sexy in there uniform it made me fall all over them. That wasn't a good thing to be thinking right now but I couldn't help it.

I had never liked tournaments and I was worried a lot about Gwaine because it was his first one. It was the same with the four others knights too.

I cared about them too but not as much as I was scared for Arthur and Gwaine. I knew I loved them in a different way to the other four knights. In a way I always have.

Gaius was standing next to me. He clearly knew I was worried about something as he kept giving me a concerned look every now and again.

I took in a deep breath to make myself a little less worried but I knew it probably wouldn't help that much. The tournament seemed to go on forever. As Arthur finished his opponent I went to go and assist him if he needed anything.

'Merlin there you are,' said Arthur with a grin as I walked into his tent.

'Here I am,' I laughed. He looked at me with concern for some reason.

'Merlin are you alright?' said Arthur.

'Yeah why?' I asked him.

'You would say something, well more than that normally,' laughed Arthur.

I shrugged my shoulders. I knew why. I was concerned about him. Besides as much as I said to Arthur I care more about his Armour. It wasn't true. I cared about his body. I was concerned about everything about him.

 His lovely blue eyes, his blond hair and his hot body, could anyone really blame me for feeling this way?

'Merlin are you even listening?' he asked.

'I probably didn't miss much. You where probably being a prat,' I said as I looked at him he was sitting down but he looked angry.

I don't know what it was. When Arthur was angry he looked so hot. I liked to tease him too. It never got old.

'That's the Merlin I know,' laughed Arthur, 'could you pass me that water on the table.'

'Oh sure,' I smiled as I picked up the goblet with water in it and passed it to him touching his hand as I did it. My body felt weird for a second but I turned around quickly hiding myself blushing from Arthur but Gwaine managed to see it as he walked in.

Gwaine looked at me weirdly for a second before he looked away from me to talk to Arthur. 'You did well out there sire'.

'So did you Gwaine. Well for your first try could have been better,' said Arthur.

'I'll take that as a compliment and leave before you take it back. I see you later Merlin for that chat,' winked Gwaine as he left.

'Gwaine is acting odd too' said Arthur.

'I hadn't noticed,' I said to him.

'Well you are an idiot that is why,' smiled Arthur. Anything to bring that smile my way. I could stand here all day and just watch him smile.

'Merlin!' someone shouted my name. What now?

'Merlin sorry Arthur could I borrow him for a little while,' smiled Gwen.

Gwen was my friend. But she liked Arthur too but I couldn't just let my feelings go or change. I had this feeling nothing would happened between me and Arthur or Gwaine for that matter.

 I had decided there was no point telling her how I felt. She would never understand. She would probably hate me for trying to take Arthur away from her. I didn't want that to happen.

'Go ahead,' smiled Arthur. Gwen smiled back at him before she left the tent and I followed her.

'What is wrong Gwen?' I asked her.

'I need some help Merlin....' she paused clearly something on her mind.

'What is it?' I asked concerned.

'I need to move some stuff,' she said.

'From where?' I said puzzled.

'Elyan he is moving back in with me. It's kind of surprise for his birthday,' she said as I followed after her as she started to walk faster.

'That is great Gwen,' I said to her stopping her going any further and pulling her into a hug.

'I know so you don't mind do you as everyone is you know fighting,' she continued.

'Not at all,' I said to her.

I rushed to the armory hoping I would find Gwaine there as we hadn't actually arranged a place to meet or a time. How stupid was that?

Not that I am calling Gwaine stupid he had a tournament to worry about. I was the stupid one not to suggest it. Sometimes I even thought Arthur was right about me being an idiot.

I charged into the armory walking straight into Gwaine. I fell back and landed on the floor awkwardly.

'Oh Merlin I'm sorry,' said Gwaine as he bent down and put his hand out to me.

'No its fine' I said smiling and taken his hand. Was I blushing again I couldn't tell.

As Gwaine helped me to my feet, I noticed he was the only one in here.

'I was about to come find you. We never arranged a place to meet' he laughed.

'That was why I came here. So what did you want to talk about?' I asked him.

'It's about something that's been troubling me for a while. I thought it better to ignore it. Forget about it. But it's been hard to do that' he said to me.

'What is it Gwaine' I asked him. He came closer to me. That was strange.

'Merlin' he breathed on me. He was so close now I felt myself shaking a little.

'Gwaine what are you doing' I managed to ask him before he put his right hand on my waist and his left hand on my cheek.

'What we both want' he whispered as he lent in towards me.

'What's that' I asked him blushing. My body had never felt so good in my entire life. I couldn't explain to anyone how this felt or less they had been through it themselves.

'To kiss each other' he whispered so gently it made me shiver in a good way.

'I don't know what you are talking about' I said trying to pull away even if I didn't really want too.

'Shut up Merlin and kiss me' he said harshly pushing me in towards him. I did exactly that. I kissed him. I kissed him like I would never be able to do it again.

'I thought you wanted to talk to me about something' I said pulling away.

'We are talking' he smiled as we kissed again
