Tensions were high as we all prepared for the upcoming war. Jase took my hand in his and smiled at me. "It's all going to be okay," he said "we'll make it through this." Just hearing his voice helped calm my nerves. While it wasn't my first time in a war, the stakes were defiantly higher than before. As the chosen one, it was up to me to save the world and highly unlikely that I would survive. It surprised me that my older brother, Percy, hadn't butted in yet. Jason glanced at Percy. "Can I talk to you alone?" he asked. I looked at everyone around us. They were all distracted. "Sure!" I replied smiling. Jase, my hand still in his lead us down stairs to a room I didn't even know existed. I walked through the door and gasped. All the walls were glass, allowing me to see the ocean and all the animals thAt inhabit it. In the middle of the floor was a blue blanket along with a picnic and topped with candles. " What's all this?" I asked. Jase smiles and wrapped his arms around my waist. " Well, I figured that maybe we could have some alone time." he replied. He leaned down and kissed me gently but passionately. I kissed him back and wrapped my arms around his neck. He pulled back. " I love you Em." he said smiling. " I love you too, Jase" I said. " C'mon," he said, " I want to show you something." I followed him and was surprised when he sat down on the picnic blanket. None the less, I sat down next to him I laid my head on his chest as he wrapped his arm around me. Jase pressed a button and a T.V. suddenly appeared. We sat and watched as a video of us showed the progress of our relationship thought pictures. "Em," he said turning towards me once the video was done, " we've literally been through hell together. You've changed me for the better and I never thought I could love someone as much as I love you. You are my everything and I love you not only for who you are, but for who I am with you." he paused momentarily, pulling out a blue box and opening it. "Jase...I" he cut me off. "now I don't want to get married right away, but I know you and despite your act I know you are scared,but I promise you we'll make it through this. I promise that when this is all over, I'll marry you one day. That I'll be the best I can be to be your everything. I promise you that you will be my Water Girl and, I your Wise Brain, Forever, For Always, and No Matter What." and with that he placed the ring on my finger. The water surrounded us as we kissed and it was pretty much the most extraordinary underwater kiss ever.

Of course, when Emma and Jase came back upstairs, I immediately noticed the ring on her finger. "Jason...I swear'" I said turning toward him, ready to punch him. " Perc! It isn't what you think... It's a promise ring!" Em said "Promising what?" I said. "Perc," Emma began, "please." "Fine," I said, backing off, " but Jason, if you ever heart my sister, I swear." Jase wrapped his arms around Emma and I swear I wanted to kill Him then and there. "Percy," Jase said, seriously, " if I ever do anything to hurt her, you better kill me." he said. Em leaned her head up slightly and he kissed her. "You're pushing it, Owlhead." I said, causing me to get a look from Annabeth for insulting her mother's sacred animal. "just don't let me catch you two together." I said, before turning around and leaving them there to go tell everyone else.
