Chiron
I stood outside with my arms crossed, staring at the ship, as the children walked off. Jason Grace walked off the ship, his arms a rounder piper, daughter of Aphrodite. Next came Frank hand In hand with hazel, Leo trailing behind them. Coach hedge came running out with a baseball bat at the children yelling, "No physical contact! No physical contact!" Nico, son of Hades, came off the ship next, as he Looked around trying to find his girlfriend. Next came Annabeth and I was alarmed to not see Percy with her. "Something's wrong with Emma." said Lara, Emma's satyr. Next, Percy walked off, holding what-or who- I assume to be Emma. I trotted over to them. I stared down at the chosen one, not to see the happy, cheery girl I always knew, but only to see her broken, no shattered and I wasn't sure if any one could be able to put her back together. I knew it that instance that only one person could do this to her, Jason. My heart broke. I had looked at him as a son and knew that when he died he brought down someone else with him. I looked at Percy, dark circles were under his eyes and it appeared that he had been trying his best to keep Emma from falling apart, but that he chances of doing so where gone the moment Jason's heart stopped beating. "Let's go to the Big house." I said, even though I already knew what they were going to tell me. As we reached the Big House, I turned toward Annabeth. "Should we call in the children of Athena, as well?" I asked and she nodded her head. Once all children of Athena, Lara, Nico and Abby (his girlfriend), and the children of the prophecy sat down at the Big House, I motions for Annabeth to deliver the devastating news. "unfortunately," Annabeth began, "we have lost one of our own, a great hero, who will forever be remeber" she said, turning to face Emma when she said the last part. Annabeth had tears in her eyes. " Jason Vinchelli is dead." she said, her voice cracking on dead. All heads turned to Emma, who just sat their numbly. The children of Athena all went up to her and told her she could stay in their cabin. Though it was against he rules, I didn't protest. I was sure Athena wouldn't mind. Abby and Lara ran up to Emma, as they have been close since middle school. "It's all my fault" was all she said, barely even a whisper. I trotted over to Percy. "I'll break the news to everyone else," I said, "I suggest Emma stay here or go to the Athena cabin, while I know all may mean well and wish to grant their sympathy, she is no state for that." Percy nodded. "I'll go bring her to the Athena cabin" he said. "and Percy," I said he turned toward me " you can brin a horse to a water whole but you can't force It to drink." Percy just nodded, I'm sure he will ask Annabeth what I ment later. I watched as Percy walked over to his sister, picked her up, and walked out of the Big House. I turned to everyone else. "I'm going to go break the news to the rest of the camp." I announced. They all turned and followed me out.
After Chiron tells the camp
I stared out at the sea of orange shirts. They all stood their shell shocked. "Where's Emma?" one of them asked. I was waiting for this question, as I knew it was one on all of their minds. "The child of Poseidon shall remain in the Athena cabin. she is in no shape to be out. While I'm sure all of you mean well, I hope you understand how hard this must be for her. I am engaging this as a rule and I expect you all to follow it. Only those with my permission will be allowed to see her." I said. they all stood there but nodded their head. They all look up to Emma. Seeing her like this, it won't benefit anyone. The all look up to her, the happy cheeky girl. But she is not that girl anymore. And I don't know if she'll ever be.
Nico (back to when Nico got off the ship)
Once I got off the ship, I immediately started looking for mu girlfriend, Abby. finally I found her. It was so great to see her again! "Hey," I said entrapping her in a hug, "I missed you!" she looked up at me. "I bet missed you more!" she teased. I stared back at her intently. "I don't think that's possible!" I replied. She started to laugh. "I missed you so much, I kissed a fish!" she said. Now I was laughing too. Nobody could make me feel the way she did, except for Bianca. So, I thought, I can love?
Later at the big house
Annabeth had just broken the news to everyone else. I turned toward Abby and hugged her. She cried into my chest and I felt so bad for her. She had known Jason before he was a demigod. she had ment him in school and when he started dating Emma, and Jason had become so close to her and the rest of her mortal friends. What made is worse was not only did she just lose Jason, she also just lost Emma, who I was pretty sure was her best friend. "You wanna go see her." I said and Abby nodded, running to her friend and basically trampling everyone that got in her way. I walked toward my cousin and sense death. Her thoughts scared me. I knew she was considering trading her life for Jason's, a life for a life. I also knew that the person who would absolutely, positively, be able to talk her out of this, with out a doubt was dead. I usually found comfort in death, considering who my father was, but this time, death hurt and not only did it hurt me, but the people I love and it hurt me to admit that.
