I gaped at the man. What he just told me, his plan for this revolution was...perfect. Every detail was described in amazingly accurate detail, and every outcome was anticipated. It possibly took years in the making to come up with something like this.

"Well?" the man questioned, lifting an eyebrow. "Are you willing to follow this plan or not?" My computer quickly analyzed it, looking for any holes. No results. But there was one thing that could bring it down.

"What if one of us gets caught and they leak this information?" I inquired.

"There are only few of us that know the full plan, while most of us only know parts of it. We made sure that the people that will be infiltrating are immune to the Lunar gift."

I leaned back in my chair. "But they could still get killed, couldn't they?" I asked, worry shown through my words and expression.

"We know the risks that we're playing, and we are willing to take them. But everyone is willing to die for the sake of ending Levana's tyranny." His face was so calm. How could he be this calm when he is responsible for so many lives? When there could be so much blood on his hands. How is he so calm and I'm not?

But I nodded anyway, agreeing to his plan because it's the best thing we got. Tomorrow is when my army will be ready and confront Levana.

Tomorrow.

I rubbed my eyes, blinking at Jacin from behind the bars of my cage. He told me everything--from the outer sectors rebelling to the secret rebellion that has been waiting to let loose. One part of me is proud of Cinder finally making her move. Another is angry at myself for not being there for her. She must need a shoulder to lean on at times like this.

"Scarlet, Scarlet," Jacin said, raising me out of my stupor. I shook my head, shaking off the weight of this new information. I almost forgot he was there.

"What?" I asked briskly.

Jacin stared at me, his face stern and his jaw set. "There's still some things you should know."

"What else could there possibly be that isn't something new?" I groaned.

Jacin just sighed, annoyed with my presence as much as I am with his. "Your little blonde friend is in the castle, along with the Lunar soldier."

I jolted awake, all signs of dreariness vanishing as if it had never been there. Cress and Wolf are here? Why? How? I started sputtering, trying to get my questions out but with no avail. Jacin just ignored my sudden outburst and kept on talking.

"You're also going to be helping too."

"How? I'm in a cage," I retorted, banging my knuckles against the bars. Jacin just held out a square of metal, and let the scanner on my cage scan it. An identity chip, I realized. My eyebrows scrunched up in confusion.

"How did you get that?" He didn't answer.

The scanner granted access and swung open. I stared at the space in front of me, no longer disfigured by the bars of my cage. Freedom was only a few steps away. I could return back to Wolf and the others. The only thing blocking me was Jacin. Oh yeah, he still wants something from me.

I sighed. "What do you want from me?"

"Cinder and the others will be Levana's main threat to her throne. That's where you and the other two So much has happened these past couple of days. So ending Kai back home. Distributing ourselves throughout the outer sectors. Trying to get me known throughout the citizens. Cause an uprising. My head pounded at the thought.
