Well, it looks like I've lost my best friend and my girlfriend.
And both of those things are really hard to replace.

Scott POV
"Mitch, how could you do this to me?"
"We fell in love, Scott. Love isn't something you can control."
I couldn't be angry at my him forever...he was my best friend. I understood the feeling of loving a girl when she's already in a relationship.
"Ok, Mitch...I understand you. I get how it feels."
"So you aren't angry anymore?"
"I'm a bit upset, but I'll get over it."
"Something isn't right here Scott...have you met another girl?"
How did he know? He knows me so well.
"Yep...she's so stunning. She has beautiful emerald eyes, and a smile sweeter than candy."
"She sounds amazing, Scott."
"She is...the problem is that she's in a relationship already."
"That's such a shame...what's her name?"
"Her name's Ella."
It gave me so much pleasure to say her name out loud. She then walked over with a smile.
"I heard my name, so I decided to come over." Ella sweetly smiled.
Her smile made me happy...I had to admit.
"I love your smile, Ella..." I said shyly, waiting for a reaction.
"That's so sweet of you to say...by the way, I'm sorry about Anthony."
"What about him?"
"He's not my boyfriend...he thinks he is."
I was overjoyed to hear this so I grinned widely, not realising that she saw me. I was secretly hoping she would see.
"What does that smile mean?" She brought me back to real life.
"It's a smile of hope."
"Thanks, Scott, but I don't see things that way." She smiled and walked away.
