"I'm sure everything will be alright." You called your mom while you were having your pause.
"I don't think so. I will just keep on suffering for one more week." You sighed with exagerarion.
"Come on sweetheart. This is just one more week, stay strong!"
Really? Couldn't she be more supportive?
"Hm."
"I got to go now. Call me whenever you want!" She said before hanging up the phone.
That's been one whole week you've been in this freaking jewellery for an internship your college obligated you to do. You didn't even wanted to go into that jewellery for this enterprise internship but it was the last place available in your little town that wasn't that bad. Well 'that wasn't that bad' before you started your internship. You couldn't bear the employee that's teaching you things.
She was always dressed up like a Hollywood actress, ordering you to vacuum the floor and wash the glasses of every window. All of that every single day.
That would be ok if she wasn't talking to you like you were the first idiot on the planet. When you were alone in the shop you could carry on but when there were clients in here you just wanted to scowl her so bad.But the worse above all of those things is she's always talking about her personal life. Her 'perfect' fiancé and the house they were building so they could live in together when they will be married and have their 'perfect children'.
There isn't even a word to describe how fed up you were with her and how careless you were about her life. Or maybe you cared but more like in a jealous and a bringing down way. You will never have the chance to be as rich as her and you will never have this perfect life everyone is dreaming about. It truly brought you down to have her speaking about that every single minute as the annoying and egoist person she was.
It was 6 pm and you had nearly finished your day so Amy, the employee, asked you to clean up the floor.
"As if it wasn't shining too much already. I really hope she will leave nice comments on my internship report." You thought as you grabbed the mop.
As you were wiping the floor you felt your phone vibrate in your back pocket. You stopped in front of a window that was presenting golden jewels, doing your best to hide your phone from Amy's sight.
"From: Jin ♡
How is my lovely girlfriend doing? I was wondering if you would like me to pick you up so we could spend a romantic evening?"
"I can see you (Y/N). That's not how the floor is going to be cleaned up." Amy called from the back of the shop.
"You can clean it by yourself if you're not happy with my work." You said under your breath before texting your boyfriend back.
"To: Jin ♡
Still struggling. I think I'm going to slap her. Thanks, I would really love it. I need it right now."
"(Y/N)!" The volume of her voice increased.
"Yes; I know I'm not allowed to send texts during my internship." You shoved your phone back in your pocket.
"Yes but that's not what I meant. I was wondering if you could give me your phone number." She faked a smile behind the cash register.
"What?"
"I mean you are really nice and we are getting close and..." This is the best lie someone ever told you.
"And I wanted to go shopping with you tomorrow since we are Saturday and we close before the other shops."
