A little chilled to the bone. (Sans x Reader)

Reunion

Your stared at the ghastly skeleton, your first response being fear. You looked over at papyrus, who seemed to be having the same reaction as you, scared and confused. It had simply appeared from nothing, its melting body forming out of the walls and literally dripping o to the floor.

Sans was staring up at it, wide eyes, before he slowly, and very shakingly you note, reaching up and wrapping a hug around it. The odd skeleton returned the gesture, and you asked yourself if this was sans father?

But if it was, wouldn't it be papyrus' as well, so why was he so confused? You shook your head with a sigh, and took a step forward "sans.. What--whats going on?" You asked hesitantly.

The two spereated and sans looked at you. Happy tears running down his cheek bones "This is my dad.. (Y/N), He.. I know he looks bad but, some stuff happened."

Papyrus took a step forward, his hands shaking "Sans... this is.. This is our dad I.. I didn't know we even.. Had one."

The new skeleton nodded. (for the sake of reading, let us pretend you can understand him) "Yes. papyrus, I am your father." He came closer, reaching out and stoking his taller sons face with a loving touch. One that was also filled with longing and regret.

You nodded slowly in understanding, watching things play out before you. Sans moved to your side, your hands tangling together as papyrus took a step away from his dad "but.. Why don't I remember you?"

The skeleton frowned, shaking his head "Papyrus.. I was the royal scientist.. gaster.. I'm sure you have heard that.. Well I am dead. Not only dead, but I was thrown across time, out of this very Timeline.. But.. I've returned!"

You watched as the lights in papyrus eyes became large, and he nodded, wrapping gaster into a hug. Smiling, you gripped sans hand tighter. He likes over at you and smiled back, placing a kiss on your forehead. At this point, gaster seemed to notice you for the first time, moving over to you and sans, after prying himself for papyrus' death grip.

Sans immedietly let you go, looking at gaster almost fearfully as he looked you down, say slowly, "Sans.. who is this.."

Sans gave you a quick glance, "This is (Y/N), she.. She's a human. And the love of my life." Gaster continued to stare you down "a... A human?"

He took a step back, loosing his posture fearfully. "Sans.. Sans why would you bring a human Into your house! It.. Its dangerous!"

You felt your chest hurt horribly as sans grabbed you up close to his chest, "I just told you. Because I L-O-V-E them." He hugged you protectively, mending the hurt that had risen in you. Gaster made a sound close to shrieking

"Sans.. Have I not taught you well enough... You.. You need to tell Ashore about this!" Sans snapped, pulling you with him over to the door "or what? You going to tattle? I thought you came back here to be out dad. Guess all you care about is work. Just like before you died."

You stared at gaster as sans pulled you out the door. He looked just, offended, and down right miserable, a few tears escaping his cracked eye sockets as sans slammed the door.

He hugged, letting go of you, his heavy break creating smoke in the air. "Dont.. don't listen to him, (Y/N), I don't care if your human or not.. I love you and would never turn you in."

You smiled, nodding "I know sans." He grabbed your hand again, pulling you with him "Why don't we go to grillbyz?" You nodded happily, glad to be away from the drama.. But you wondered if papyrus would be okay.

Shrugging it off, you let Dan's drag you into the restraint, being greeted by faces that were both friendly and unsure, as you were sitting down you come to the conclusion that everyone remembered the previous reset.

"Hey sans?" You looked over at him, sipping on a glass of water grillbyz-- well, more like a customer he asked to-- had brought out for you. "yeah kiddo?"

You smiled softly "I love you but.. What are we going to do about your dad?" He looked down at you for a moment before smiling back again, "Well if he bother yah, then we can just run away! Besides, Its my house. I pay the bills, I own it, I never even said he could stay."

"But you should let him, you know." Sans shrugged, "maybe I will.. But that means your gunna have to sleep with me, since we only have the couch." You smiled at the though, nodding, "im fine with that."

Chuckling, he turned around in the seat to you, wrapping his arms on your waist and pulling you closer, as your hands snaked around his neck. Though your lips were pressed against his teeth, it still felt wonderful.

The two of you giggled into the kiss, pulling away, "I love you sans."

"I love you too (Y/N)."

So like, ayyeeeee I like how Gasters reaction to the human was pretty much a Bigot parent finding out their child was gay. Hehe. Well, the end is near. I suspect about 2 or 3 more chapters for what I have planned. I might make another fanfic that continues off this one from a different point of view :V heheheh.

Also please tell me you all got the reference in the story xD
