The fumes of my nicki minaj perfume sented up the room as I stood in nothing but my maiden form lingerie set. I wasnt planning on getting lucky but if thats what this night held for me then I was going to make sure all of me, even my underwear smelt good. I had already finished my makeup and was still deciding on what I wanted to wear out. I didnt want to be half naked but I also didnt want to be too conservative.
I scanned my closet for something to wear and I decided to go with a little black dress. You can never go wrong with one but this dress in particular was a little unique.. it had a thigh high split and the top was cut into a low v-neck.
I finished lotioning down then decided to slip the dress on and when I tell you that thang fitted like a glove.. honey that thang looked painted on.
I walked over to the mirror to tackle my hair. I know I'm use to my long locks but after seeing Paula try something new with her hair Sunday, I decided to go back and chop my long locks into a a-line bob with the infamous nicki bangs.
I stepped in a pair of black dafadil loubs with the strap and did a full 360° in the mirror. Honey a bitch looked so damn good, I thought I was London Charles for a minute.
I smiled at the thought of the looks I was going to be getting tonight. Child somebody man might not make it home tonight. I said aloud to myself.
I heard a knock at my door as I was so caught up in feeling myself. I sashayed to the front door.
"Who is it?"
"De'Wayne."
I unlocked the door and opened it to greet him.
"Lawd haur mercy!" He stated as he looked me from head to toe. He was completly speechless.
I smiled at his lack of words.
"I'll take that as a compliment. C'mon in. I just have to grab my bag and I'll be ready." I said as I stepped aside.
"Alright." He said as he stepped inside looking around at my decor and photos as I walked to the back.
"You have a nice spot."
"Thank you."
"Come to think about it.. My description of you when we first met was dead on. The leather, crystals, expensive vases."
I laughed as I walked up from the back.
"Yes, you were right but what makes you assume my decor is expensive?"
"Its just the way it looks I guess."
"Well your assumptions are inaccurate. Half of these assesories are diys. A little crystals from the sewing section in walmart can go a long way. "
"I see. I told you you were a Kandi Burrus."
"Hey, why buy a thousand dollar vase thats going to sit on a shelf when you can buy one for a lesser price and decorate it how you want. Its like having a one of a kind instead of one of many." I explained as I walked to the door.
He followed behind me.
"A frugal shopper. I like it."
I shook my head as we walked out and I locked the house up.
"You like a lot De'Wayne." I said as we walked to his car.
We pulled up in the parking lot of club Xstasy and he parked.
"You ever been here before?" I asked him.
"No but a few of my friends have and they approve. I thought it would be fun because its masquerade night."
