Sorrow and Sadness

Sonic's Pov.

I ran to the park where I was suppose to meet Y/N, but I didn't go that fast today. My speed depends on my emotions and right now, I only felt sorrow.

*flashback to earlier this morning*

I, finally, came out of my room this morning, due to my anger being tamed. Tails and the gang were waiting for me in the kitchen. They all looked at me with sadness too.
"Sonic," Tails came up to me, "We have no other choice."
"I... I know." I gave up, knowing that Tails was right, "I tell her today, just not right now."
"I'll text her and tell her to meet you at the park at 1:00. Will that be enough time for you?"
"Yeah... sure." I sighed, depressed. The rest of the day until then, I stayed in my room, mourning the fact that I will need to be separated from my one and only love. I didn't eat anything for breakfast, and I scarcely touched my lunch. I looked towards the clock, which read 12:45 pm. I sighed as I got up and left the house to the park.

*end of flashback*

I reached the park several minutes later than I normally would. No one was here today since it's currently still school time. I sighed, hoping that Y/N was still at school so that I wouldn't have to tell her now. I realized that I was wrong when I saw Y/N arrive at the park several minutes later.
"Hi Sonic." Y/N said.
"Hi Y/N..." I responded, "You don't have school today?"
"I do, I just chose not to go."
"Why not?" I asked. This was a first.
"I... had to deal with something new."
"Really, what is it?" I questioned, hoping to buy more time.
"You see... How about you tell me what you were going to say first."
"No, no. I insist that you should go first."
"Well... the thing is... myfamilyandIaremovingtoF/A/Cintwodays!" Y/N spoke quickly, but I still heard and understood every word.
"You're... moving?" I asked.
"Yeah... that's why I didn't go to school today. I was trying to find a way to cope with this."
"Oh..."
"Please don't be mad with me, Sonic. After all, you can always still run over for a visit, or Tails can take you there in the X-Tornado." Y/N said nervously. I simply looked down at the ground.
"You are mad, aren't you?" Y/N looked down.
"What? No, not at all! In fact, it should be you whose mad with me." I told her.
"Huh?" Y/N asked, confused.
"Y/N, even if you do move, we won't be able to see each other... ever."
"What do you mean by that?" Y/N asked, worry being heard in her voice. I looked at her and sighed.
"We all need to... go back home."
