Wedding Day: Part 2

 Sonic's Pov.

It wasn't until I got to the alter that I figured why Tails said such a ridiculous thing.
"I... can't... do... this." I mumbled to myself. I suddenly felt something hit my back, "Ow!"
"Geez Sonic." I turned around and saw Amy. "You're more nervous than Y/N."
"Y/N was nervous too?"
"Yeah. I mean, this is pretty much the biggest day of her life. And yours too, but you seem to be overreacting about this."
"I'm not overreacting!" I retorted.
"You're sweating like a hedgehog on a hot summer's day." Knuckles told me.
"I'm just... hot, that's all."
"Sure you are." Knuckles said sarcastically before going to the piano.
"Who knew that Knuckles was good at playing the piano?" Amy whispered.
"I know right." Tails whispered back, chuckling. I gulped.
"Sonic," Amy started, "I know that you may be nervous, but trust me. When you see Y/N, I'm sure that you'll change your opinion on this marriage dealo."
"If you say so." A minute later, Knuckles started playing the music, meaning that it was starting. I tensed up at the sound. The crowd turned their heads around as Cream and Cheese were skipping out, throwing flower petals everywhere. As soon as they finished, the crowd began to gasp slightly. I looked over and saw Y/N in the most beautiful wedding dress ever. I felt my cheeks become warm, while Tails was chuckling at my reaction.
"She's so... beautiful."
"I told you so." Amy said. Y/N slowly made her way towards me, all eyes still glued onto her. I gave her a quick hug when she arrived at the top.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered her today to bond these two Mobians. Sonic the Hedgehog and Y/N the Hedgehog. The bond they share is strong and shall remain eternal. Do you, Y/N, take this hedgehog to be your husband your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish his friendship and love him today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor him, laugh with him and cry with him? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"
"I do." Y/N said.
"And do you, Sonic, take this hedgehog to be your wife, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish her friendship and love her today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor her, laugh with her and cry with her? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"
"Yes, I most definitely do." I answered.
"Then by the power of the Chaos Emeralds, I here by pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." As soon as he said that, I pulled Y/N into a deep and meaningful kiss. Y/N returned the kiss just the same way. The crowd cheered, along with all of our friends.
"Congratulations!" Everyone said.

*time skip to after party*

I can't believe that that actually happened. I'm married to the most beautiful girl in the worl- no, in the universe. Tails had set up a DJ set and started to DJ. I was like any normal party, but better. The last song was a romantic slow-dance song. Of course, I took hold of Y/N, and we started dancing.
"Sonic?" Y/N said.
"Yeah?"
"You weren't too nervous, were you?" I blushed, sort of embarrassed, before smiling.
"Not after I saw you." I pulled her into another kiss, which she gladly returned. That was truly a fascinating day.

Shadow's Pov.

"See, I told you that Blue had a thing for that girl." A certain green hedgehog said.
"Hm. This knowledge shall be useful to us. Come on." I told him before running off.
"Alright man. Geez." Scourge ran after me. I was going to tell Eggman the news. Let's hope that it'll bring an end to that blue hedgehog.
