Pregnant?!

Sonic's Pov.

I ran outside the house and to the hospital. On the way there, I got a call from Tails.
"Yes, Tails?" I asked while still running.
"Hey Sonic. You don't seem to be at home. Where are you?" Tails questioned.
"I'm taking Y/N to the hospital. Her sickness seemed to have gotten worse." Tails facepalmed.
"Don't you think that you're over reacting a little?"
"She just lost her lunch." I told him.
"Oh, okay. Amy and I will be there soon too." Tails nodded, hanging up the communicator. I reached the hospital in no time flat and quickly ran to the front desk.
"Excuse me miss?" I asked the front desk lady.
"Yes, may I help you?" she questioned.
"My girlfriend her had morning sickness and just currently lost her lunch. I just want to make sure that she's okay."
"Okay, bring her into room 15. Down the hallway, make a right, and it should be around the corner. I'll get a doctor there soon."
"Ok, thanks." I ran down the hallway and to the room. I lay Y/N in the bed.
"Don't worry Y/N, you'll be okay." I gave her a smile, and she returned it with her own. The doctor came in a minute later.
"So what's wrong with the patient?" the doctor asked.
"She had morning sickness and just lost her lunch. I just wondering if anything serious is wrong with her." I explained.
"Okay then, let's have a look. I already have a feeling that I know what it is though." The doctor put sort of jelly on Y/N's stomach, which made me tilt my head in confusion. Then, the doctor put some kind of microphone object-looking thing on Y/N's tummy for the analysis. I heard the doctor let out a slight sigh.
"Well?" I asked, holding Y/N's hand. The doctor chuckled.
"It seems that you're girlfriend here is pregnant." I looked at the doctor dumbfounded, and so did Y/N. After contemplating what they said, we realized why this happened.
"EEEHHH?!?!" We both shrieked, slightly embarrassed.
"Calm down now. Here, let me show you the kid." The doctor pressed on a button that showed a screen of the inside of Y/N's belly. I didn't see much at first until I saw the image move slightly. When I looked more carefully, it turned out to be a baby hedgehog.
"That's your child." The doctor told us. I looked at Y/N and saw her smile. She looked at me too.
"We're having a baby hedgie." I chuckled at Y/N's cute word use and smiled.
"Yeah, we are."
"Sonic, we're here." I saw Tails and Amy come in through the d0or, "So, did you figure out what's wrong?"
"We're having a child." I told them, and they let out a gasp in surprise.
"AWWWW," Amy squealed, "That's so adorable! Is it a boy or girl?"
"It's still a little too early to determine that. Maybe it'll be easier in a month or two." the doctor told us. I pulled Y/N into a hug, which she gladly returned.
"How long until the birth?" Tails questioned, which we almost forgot to ask about.
"About 9 months." I gave Y/N a kiss on the forehead. This was a wonderful feeling for both of us. Y/N was going to be a mother, and I was going to be a father. I just hope that everything will go smoothly until the birth. I then remembered that Y/N was giving birth to my child, and we weren't even married yet. I guess that I'll have to fix that problem soon.
