"Hello, Aunt. "
My eyes perked up on hearing his voice. He changed a lot; his voice which was once gentle and more child-like has now disappeared behind present husky and masculine voice. I covered my ears in annoyance and looked to the other side. Jess elbowed me lightly and gave me a sly grin. I know what that mean. "Look who is coming. My future brother-in-law," she made an irritating teasing sound and the snorting sound that she makes to annoy me. "What! Oh, please! You know how much I resent him," I barked at her, rolling my eyes at her because of her ignorant teasing.
"Hey, Sis Jess." Overactive Jess waved her hand and offered him the fries that we were eating. Kindhearted and cliché Jess as always.
"Hey, Su," came the relaxed and we-get-along-better tone. As he said that he had that smirk-which makes me remember that day. That tone; I hate the tone now, it didn't have the same effect as before. I looked up at him and said, "Don't call me that, it's only for those people who matter." His smirk vanished and his expression changed. "Bye, Jess a-and Su-Sugar. I will meet you when we reach Okinawa." He closed the car's door and headed towards his family's car.
"What was that, Su? You were so rude to Al. Even if you hate him so much, that was harsh-" I just shrugged and put on my earphone to avoid her opinions about my behavior.

Our car and Aunt Ellie's car had stopped at the place where our family always takes lunch at. I woke up few minutes later with dizziness and a growling sound. I realized that it was coming from my stomach and that I was craving for food since I avoided it in the morning because of the fear of vomiting. I forced my way out of the car with one hand on the head and the other for the support. We took a long table which was sufficient for the two families to eat on it and waited for our food. As I waited, my dizziness got worse and I interpreted it as a side effect of starving. I woke up to go to the washroom and after sprinkling water on my face; I walked out of the washroom and leaned against the wall, resting my head on my knees to calm down and to stay stable.
"Are you okay? You need a medicine?" a voice came. I struggled to held my head up and say thank you to the kind person, but as soon as I looked up, I saw Allen standing, I held back my gratitude and stood up to go. "Wait," he grabbed my hand and slowly and hesitantly released my arm as I stopped. "At least have this medicine; it will make you feel much better." "Don't talk to me. That memory is still fresh in my mind," I said without turning my head towards him.
"This holiday is going to be a chaotic one" I thought and directly went to the table without making an effort to turn back to him.
