Kaoru POV
This is so stupid! Why did the only chase after me?! This place is freaking huge!
My feet slapped against the ground countless times and with all the guards I had to fight through, my legs were starting to get weak. Two more things were wrong, I had no plant life whatsoever, and my power belt is still regaining its strength. In a short way, I'm screwed.
I gave it my all to run a little faster to the end of the hall. What little breath I had left, I slipped behind the wall and let the guards run past me. I slid down against it, trying to catch my breath.
Why did they come for me? Plenty of people to chase after, Blitz took the freaking compactor and set the guards on us! "Just my luck, I guess." I mumbled with a more forced smile. I really took this time to try and gather up as much information as I could recall.
I know we're here because of the Rowdies and Beez- for whatever purpose though. Ms.Rin was casted out and Blossom and Butch are unknown. Now, this sick bastard is sending an army after us. I don't get his reasons though, it makes no sense!
"Attention Multi Personal, from the lower ground, please, come to Level B-2." the speaker boomed. I heard multiple footsteps come my way.
"Shit," I cursed
A door had slid open and two men exited from my right, the wall acted as a blind spot and I raced into the room, ready to fight anything wandering around.
The room was empty except for a large cage. "Bastard," a voice growled from inside "CAME BACK FOR- Butterfly?"
"Butch!" I ran to the cage. "You idiot, you're okay."
"I was more worried about you guys," he smiled warmly
"How do I get you out?" I asked observing the cage
"Honestly, I have no idea- DON'T TOUCH THE BARS!!!!"
"Why not?"
"They're electric, super powerful electricity. I would've burst out, a long time ago."
"Great," I sighed
"I'm really happy to see you, Butterfly." Butch smiled at my pacing.
"You say that like you're not stuck in a cage right now." I replied
"Yeah, this isn't my finest hour and I wish I had the key." He walked to the cage and face me "But I would hate it if you weren't here. You could say I was hoping you would find me."
"You're something special Butch." I sighed with a small smile.
He reached his hand out to me and I took it kneeling by the cage. "Yeah, I just knew you would come for me."
Momoko POV
Brick had been holding onto me very tightly ever since we left the room, I wasn't complaining but. He had this continuous look of determination in his eyes, like he's ready to kill.
With the sudden announcement, the guards had flooded from the floor and we made our way to the lower floor. The whole floor was quiet. "What do you think is down here?" I asked
"Probably something no good," Brick growled
I felt helpless without my Puff buckle. "Hey," Brick said "It's okay."
"Not really, when you're helpless." I sighed
"You're aren't helpless."
"Really? My belt is gone and if I try to use ice, you know..."
"Yeah, I know." He said looking guilty
The silence was interrupted by the sound of footsteps and muffled voices. The voices stopped all together and walked slowly towards us. Before I knew it Brick was shooting fire in their direction and a figure came out attacking. It went after me and dodged most attacks while the other went after Brick. I dodged back and forth, but this person seemed to be way faster than me. Finally it had me pinning me on my stomach both my hand behind me back.
Brick on the other hand was still fighting, if I didn't know better I'd say it was Fire against air? Finally Brick sent a fiery fist to this person and he blocked it.
"Brick?"
"Blitz?"
"Oh it's just you guys," Blitz smiled "Rin."
"Oh sorry," she climbed off of me.
"How can you fight with your injury." I asked standing
"Healing power," Blitz smiled. "Hey I found this." He handed me my compactor
I gave him the biggest hug "Thanks Blitz!!!!" The moment I inserted it in my belt, it started beeping. The screen split four ways. "MOMOKO!" everyone yelled
"You're okay," Bubbles smiled
"Yeah," I smiled
"Hey guys," Boomer said from behind Bubbles. "I got a plan, not a good one though."
"Carry on," said Kaoru
"Since me and Bubbs got Aiko and Simon, I think we should go looking around Jean's lab for some answers we might just figure out where Beez is."
"Okay then what about us," Kaoru asked "I'm having some trouble getting Butch out of this cage."
"You too should try to get to his office." Boomer said "If I remember it's on the third floor."
"Rodger."
Boomer started again "Momoko, I want you guys to still be looking for Beatrice. We need something to fall back on."
"Hey what about Usagi," Blitz interrupted
"I left her in the main room," Bubbles said "I don't think she could of got far, she's not answering."
"I'll go," Rin said "I'll find her and meet with in Jean's office, okay?"
Hesitantly, Blitz nodded. "Okay."
"Right, it's 7:50 right now. We need to move fast and get out of here."
"Right," We all said
