“Nat! Are you okay? Get up!!” The concerned voice rang continuously like a church bell in my ears as I slowly forced my eyes open only to be greeted by a strong penetrating ray of sunlight glistening through the trees adding to my newly forming head-ache. Placing my hand drearily on my pounding head, I pushed myself up into a sitting position as I noticed Mia flailing her arms and tail around in the air with happiness. “Nat! I’m so glad your okay!” She exclaimed. “You really scared me there… You were tossing and turning like crazy… And your face was dripping with sweat too.. You looked like you were in pain. Were you dreaming again?” She continued; shifting her happy over-joyed facial expression and lowering one eye-brow looking worried again. I turned my head around properly to face her, and gave her my usual ‘Don’t worry’ look. “ I was yes…” I trailed off and looked at the ground. “But I’m okay now; that’s the main thing, right?” I continued, giving her a reassuring cheery smile. She sighed and folded her arms in reply. “What on earth am I going to do with you..?” She spoke slowly before hugging me tight. “Either way, I’m sure Fairy Tail will put you at ease when you sleep! Actually.. Speaking of Fairy Tail…Umm…” She went from loud to quiet as she spoke, and lifted her paw, leaning it up against her face. I glanced down, looking at her curiously. “What is it?” I questioned. She raised her head and looked up at me for a second, her pupils large and focused on my face as she crawled up my back and clung onto my shoulder.

Her words immediately awoke me from my dreary and dazed state. “We overslept.” Mysteriously; my head-ache suddenly disappeared. I wonder why… We both gazed at each other for a second before my realisation sunk in. I slowly lowered my gaze down to the small red bag strapped around my waist and opened it; to stare at the black watch like it was a ghost. “Crap!” We both yelled in sync, as I closed the bag, launched myself up in the air onto my feet and began to run, picking up the pace through the small enlightened final stretch of the forest. Jumping over rocks as if they were hurdles and dodging the never ending amount of trees, my mind began to think of exactly what I didn’t want to happen. It was already noon, and Magnolia will be bustling with people and it’ll take us ages to get to the Guild.

That wasn’t my main worry though.. It was the people in general. We’ve never been very good talkers outside of the house… Or just at mingling with people really, and we just usually receive stares and get given funny looks. I was thinking so deeply I didn’t realise I’d trailed off the path into the wrong direction. “Nat! Where are you going? Wrong waaaaaaaayyyyy-!” Mia shouted and closed her eyes just as I collided into something. No. Someone. Whoever it was must have been wearing quite a few layers or had a big build; Because we were sent flying backwards straight onto the floor, and I close my eyes and braced for the hit. Even though my eyes were closed, I could tell the person was standing over us, looking down, as the sunlight dimmed over my eyelids. As I began to force them open, Mia let out a little scream and launched herself around me; grappling my neck and hid. After opening my eyes, I saw her reason. A big, dark Wolf stood directly in front of us, letting off a low growl. Honestly though; I just wanted to stroke it. I cautiously lifted my head to look at who I bumped into. I suddenly lost my cockiness and became terrified. He was HUGE.
